Great prices for the most part. I do feel like some items could be better grouped in baggies, as well as priced a bit better.
My input on what I mean better explained below:
On the aisle where things like hangers, crafting items and other miscellaneous items are could be better organized as a whole aisle in itself, as well as the items on the aisle being better grouped in baggies. Example 1: hanger bundles: there was a bundle of the nice velvety hangers for $2.99 (if I recall correctly) which had about 10-15 hangers. This is a great price (don't think it should change), but then there was another bundle of same velvety hangers in worse condition with at the most maybe 5 hangers for the same $2.99 pricing. This makes no sense. Not sure if that is due to 2 different people pricing or what, but maybe it would be best to have set pricing so no matter who prices items there is consistency for customers. Also, on this same aisle there were many bags of various items that were not even related with very inconsistent pricing based on contents of bags. Example 2: there was a bag with some sorts of crafting items and then a few random kitchen items for around 3.99 or so. It would likely sale sooner if items were grouped in same category. Example 3: several of the bagged bundles had clearly came unzipped and were missing items leaving a bag priced at $3.99 with only 1 or 2 items (with bag not even zipped giving the impression that items had likely fallen out since there were loose items on bottom without price tags)
The pricing for items like knick knacks/what-nots, photo frame/wall decor, as well as the dishes often seem to be over priced, sometimes so much so it's surprising. Not sure how the pricing is chosen for those types of items but since many times the items are scuffed up, chipped, not full set (dishes) or clearly have a price tag from another store showing it costs less than the ticketed sticker price you all placed maybe it would be good ideam to revisit your pricing model.
I think most other items I have been interested in have been fairly priced, with a few exceptions. Given that many people shop thrift stores because they cannot afford to shop new, I personally believe that all thrift stores consider one of their end goals to be a focus on maintaining reasonable pricing allowing those who cannot afford the ever rising costs of new items to still enjoy items that are gently used at a much more...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen I tell you to go here, YOU HAVE GOT TO GO! These prices are INSANE!!! The store is always so clean, everything is organized, the employees are always so friendly, and theyāve got such a great collection of different items. I once went here before for a traditional bed frame and lace curtains for my bedroom. A traditional bed frame was ONLY $15.99 and 4 sets of curtains were $17.99. I bought the bed frame and my partner bought the curtains. Outstanding. Turned out wonderful!
I then came back yesterday, in hopes of finding a queen size platform bed frame, so I could get rid of my box spring⦠with platform bed frames, you donāt particularly need a box frame and mine was trash lol so I decided to go here yesterday and found not only a queen platform bed frame, but it came with the whole set!!! The headboard, the platforms, the bed frame, and the bottom frame. Itās white and from IKEA!! Wanna know how much it was??? It was only $39!!!! There is a younger gentleman behind the counter who is always so nice, helpful, and friendly. He helped me yesterday. Then, there was an older gentleman who was also so generous, kind, and friendly. I didnāt get their names, but I asked them if I could hug them after their services. They disassembled the bed frame and yes, it took some work, but we were able to get everything into my KIA SOUL lol and my partnerās KIA SOUL lol THANK YOU SO MUCH!! āŗļø YOU BOTH DESERVE A RAISE AND A PROMOTION FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR ME. I am really grateful and thankful for these two. This store has better deals than Goodwill. GO...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my first time coming to this store and I can honestly say my experience was truly wonderful. The store was clean, organized, and offered a fair variety of items, while the two ladies I interacted with, employed there, were genuinely kind, wholesome, and incredibly uplifting (and not in the typical retail- oriented model of exchanging generic pleasantries and making useless small talk). Pertaining to the few negative reviews on here, I do feel compelled to mention that I found them arrogant and unreasonable- this is a cheap (thank God) thrift store, operating solely on donations. Of course some items are going to be gems, while others not so much, and of course, there isn't going to be a refund/ exchange policy. We all have the option to choose what we buy and whether we make a purchase or not. The store, however, provides access to affordable items, which is much needed, especially in the current volatile economic climate, for everyone in the community and supports a truly charitable cause. Further, for the ones claiming that the merchandise is overpriced and inadequate- my beautiful items below totaled less than 5 dollars. I will definitely be donating items there myself in the recent future in order to give back and to support the noble charity the store...
