So where do I start? Let’s start from the beginning. I had recently had my lips done using a hyapen with hylaronic acid and needless to say they didn’t react so well. My lips swelled up drastically and developed hard spots. They were very sensitive and warm to the touch. I had no bruising or discoloration but severe swelling and discomfort. By day 4 the hard spots were still very sore and the swelling still bad. I thought there may have been something wrong. I researched and saw it could take a week for the swelling to go down. That’s what was starting to slowly happen. By day 7 I knew something wasn’t right my upper lip was severely swollen, tender, and felt warm to touch. I immediately started to look for doctors in my area. I kept hearing great things about Evolve Med Spa and was also referred by a friend. They conveniently have 2 locations in Hoboken and Jersey City. It was there I found Austin, who I renamed Austin Angel. I sent her a message via Instagram and she got back to me in under an hour. I immediately felt a sense of relief. I knew she was going to be awesome. She asked me a few questions and had me send her pictures and videos. It has been heaven ever since. She got me into her office the next day. The whole staff is great! thank you Paige, the rest of the girls and of course Emily you are just the best! The first day after my visit my lips went down drastically! I was prescribed some meds and in a couple of days they were finally better. Austin had me back 2 times just to check on them, and both her and Emily reached out to me checking on me as well which just was amazing.    Read moreThis place has become a joke of a Botox farm. I was a client since 2021 and as they rapidly expanded their service got worse and worse. When they were just 1 location or even 2 expanded into JC, they were amazing. The membership kept changing and they would not honor what was quite literally in their app (Jeveau) because they said it switched to Xeomin yet it still said Jeveau in the app and the front desk confirmed that my app still said Jeveau. I decided to cancel my membership a few months ago.
In December 2023 my lip injections were so poorly done I had to pay my dermatologist to dissolve most of the filler and start over. The filler was bumpy and was injected into the wrong place and left me with bruises for weeks after because my lips were so overfilled. In October 2024, the injector did such a poor job on my wrinkle relaxer (Xeomin) I had to get medical attention again from the dermatologist. In January 2025, it was incredibly clear the Xeomin was so diluted it had no effect whatsoever and again had to go to the dermatologist to get my wrinkle relaxer fixed. The first 2 incidents were reported to them and they were of zero help and the last one I just canceled my membership after thinking about it for a few weeks.
I canceled my last appt by replying to the confirmation text message within 2 minutes but they say they didn’t see my message and charged me the late fee. I am already in the process of disputing with my credit card company but please be aware of their predatory practices and likely highly...
   Read moreIt pains me to write this review because all of the actual people that do the procedures are professional, talented and do a great job. I have been a loyal Preferred Member for well over a year which I pay 139.00 a month for a treatment and discounted unit pricing on injectables. Because my schedule is challenging and Evolve had to cancel on me a couple of times, I missed two monthly sessions that I had paid for. These credits apparently could not roll over and I decided I was going to call it quits on the program after this month since I already paid for August. The front desk and Manager would not give me the discounted per unit price of 9.00 and ended up charging me 13.00. Once I realized their error, I emailed, called and sent proof of the mistake. Customer service has instead but the blame on the customer for wanting to cancel and is not responding to my refund request. For a 300.00 discrepancy they are willing to forfeit a loyal local client that even without the monthly membership would still have a need for services. As a business owner myself, I am very disappointed in this outcome and the way management chooses to ignore errors.
