I'm on the hunt for a really good cappuccino. I've already been to a few places, but Bwe Kafe had some good reviews, so I decided to check it out and see if their cappuccino lives up to the hype. Not many people drink cappuccinos, so I wasn't sure if the reviews would necessarily cover that aspect. First off, I asked about the size of their small cappuccino and what type of cup they serve it in. To me, the size of the cup is the first clue as to whether they really know their cappuccinos. Hmm... turns out the small cappuccino was a whopping 12 ounces, which is obviously way too big. I asked for 8 ounces instead, but it seems I still ended up with 12 ounces, basically just a cup of milk. Based on that, I couldn't really judge if the coffee itself was any good, as all I could taste was milk. My husband ordered a small Americano, but what he got was a massive cup of coffee... Not exactly what he was expecting. Still, if you're into American-style coffee, it's a decent spot. It's small but cozy, though most people seem to come here with their laptops, giving it a bit of a library vibe. I wasn't sure if talking was allowed! On the bright side, the service was really nice. Overall, while Bwe Kafe might not be the best spot for cappuccino aficionados, it's a nice place for those who prefer...

Updated: BWE have really turned things around lately. Back to the up-beat fantastic service I knew and loved! I won’t get my coffee anywhere else.

Depressingly excellent coffee. I lived in Brooklyn until May 21, and very regularly visited this place as my partner lives close-by. I LOVED IT - the coffee has always been outstanding, with the welcoming service as the cherry on top. I used to leave BWE with a smile on my face, and a skip in my step.

I have now been 4 days in a row and am so very disappointed. On 1 of the 4 days I received a warm - if not engaging - reception. The other 3 occasions, I have been made to feel like a complete inconvenience to the staff, often engrossed in their own conversations, consequently slowing service to a crawl.

Don't expect a friendly 'hello', or for anyone to acknowledge you (should you have the audacity to do so) saying 'have a nice day' as you leave. Do expect someone to mindlessly bang your order into the till, only to have a cup effectively thrown at you by another barista at some point in the future. The coffee, granted, is still...

So far the best coffee shop in the area I've been to.

Staff are professional, friendly and very efficient. When we arrived, around 6-7 customers showed up at around the same time. The staff efficiently took the orders. We ordered 2 flat whites, 1 cappuccino, 3 regular croissants. Within 5min, the entire queue was gone, everyone had been served; that's efficiency!

Interior is cozy, inviting to spend time enjoying your coffee or whatever you've ordered.

Flat white and cappuccino were both very good. Rich flavours, not too hot, nice smooth créma which remains smooth and the cup filled to the top as flat whites and cappuccinos should be. Definitely best coffee we had so far around here.

Croissants were OK. Not airy/light enough in my opinion. Carrot cake was fine, but the taste of cinnamon was too strong.

Overall, highly recommend to visit "bwè kafe" if you're in the area. Personally, I think there's no better place to have a coffee within 20min walking distance, except for their other branch...

I recently visited Bwè Kafe and was blown away by the quality of their coffee. I ordered a latte and it was one of the best I've ever had - the perfect balance of espresso and milk. The baristas are true professionals, and you can tell they take pride in their craft. The cafe itself is also spotless and well-maintained. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. I noticed a lot of happy customers while I was there, which is always a good sign. Overall, I would highly recommend Bwè Kafe to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a welcoming atmosphere. The latte I had was amazing, the staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the cafe was clean and inviting. Five stars!
