Ordered from Papa John's and it arrived incorrect. The manager Luke said the delivery driver forgot our correct order and it would be out in about 20 minutes. I called back a little over an hour later. Luke says that it's a busy night with only him and one other guy working. He says he will deliver my order out himself and it'll be there shortly. I call back a little over an hour later and Luke answers with "Sorry we're closed". I inform him that I didn't receive my order. He says "they didn't take care of that?" I said no and he apologizes. Luke says the order will be on them tonight and they will replace the full order as well another night with a free pepsi. He says mention his name and that it's on quality control. I call in 2 days later and the guy answering the phone says he's never heard of quality control. I explain everything. He says there is only a free Pepsi on my account. He goes away to talk to the manager Doltan. He comes back and says they can replace my pizza and pepsi, but not the sauces I paid for because it doesn't cover the sauces. I asked to speak to Doltan. Not long on hold and the phone disconnected so I called back to speak to Doltan. Doltan says he will replace the pizza but not the Pepsi and not the sauces as quality control doesn't cover it. Then he says that I should've just gotten the free Pepsi the night I was offered it. So I contact papa John's Facebook who says they made a complaint and that I would be contacted by store management. I waited almost a week with no word. I contacted their Facebook again and they escalated the issue to above the store management. I waited 4 days and no word nor no refund nothing. I contacted their Facebook again and they escalated the issue to a franchise level and ensured me that I'd be contacted within 2 days. That was 6 days ago. Still no refund, still no replacement, still nothing made right. Papa John's in Lancaster Ohio on Memorial Drive will never get another dollar of my or my family's money again. The sad thing was, it was my mother they were screwing out of money as she was over watching fireworks and decided to order from them with her card. Last night, I placed an order over the phone and got the same pizza I always get from there with an exception to a couple times I ordered pepperoni. My pizza got to me within the quoted time, but when I opened the box, it was not the pizza I ordered. I looked at the order sticker on the side, and it was my name and address but was a different pizza than what I ordered. I called back and spoke to the "manager", named Majesty....I said that I did not get the pizza I ordered. There was no apology, no "let me look into that for you", just a cold "what was the name on the order" with attitude and annoyance. I told her my name and she said "it says here you ordered the BBQ meats pizza". I said "that is not what I ordered. I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, no onion, no bacon" This "manager" ARGUED with me for two minutes about what I ordered!!! I asked if she was the one who took my order and she said "no ma'am I was not", and I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager, and proceeded to tell me I ordered the BBQ meats pizza. I told her she can look in my order history, I always order the same thing! She asked me if I wanted her to send out a new pizza, I said "well yeah, I would like to get the pizza I paid for.." and her response was "well you did the pizza you paid for because you ordered and paid for the BBQ meats pizza." who in the hell is hiring these so callex managers?! Since when is it ok to treat customers like crap like she did to me?? I got the right pizza and tried to give the other one back to the delivery guy and he told me I could keep it....believe it or not, I have not eaten that pizza because I didn't WANT that pizza and did not order that pizza. I understand mistakes happen, I would not have been upset about this situation if the "manager" wouldn't have treated me so poorly and told me what I ordered even though she was not the person who took my order!!! Read moreIt deserves less than 1 star, not the store it self. I purchased a gift card, andyuh downloaded the app. The app stinks. Order accuracy and accounting is awefull. Quality of service is terrible. I will give the manger(s) at least a 4 in effort to make it right. Delivery people are good and courteous. If You like deep crust it's o.k. But of you want thin, only can get in large, an well. You might as well get on card board.
.once I use up gift card It will be a long time before I return. There are better chain's and Franchise around. The only bought the gifts card for the fuel points in the first place......
Once more I placed an order, not necessarily because I wanted Pappa John's, but because I had a balance on the gift card I purchased. The attitude and customer service I recieved was terrible, as it was the last time. I did not ask for his name, but all he could do is complain about how much work he had to do. I also have the same complaints about the app. Once the gift card is expended, I will not be doing business with Pappa John's in Lancaster Ohio I've complained...
