Horrible, horrible, horrible, and horrible again. This was literally THE WORST Tim Hortons experience I have ever had.
To boot, the place was packed with loafers that were very loud, but that wasn't even the start of the issue. After waiting in-line at cash register 1 of 2, for over 10 minutes. We finally gave up and went to #2 where we were addressed right-away, but they were busy I guess so it was another 2 minutes or so to be waited on.
Finally, we get waited on! requesting two simple beverages, frozen hot chocolates. The lady running the counter was extremely friendly, but nervous. She had just started, it was her first week. And while trying her best, her trainers were no where to be found when she needed them.
She firstly had issues finding the items on the register, at-last after a fly-by employee decides that she's taking too long, they push the button for her.
She cashes us out smoothly, and again excellent customer service from her particularly.
She goes to make our drinks and discovers the machine is malfunctioned from before, she asks 3 different, unhelpful employees about it and one finally goes to try to figure it out and says it's broke down and she needs to refund...
That's fine, things happen. Except she hasn't ever had to refund anyone before and has no training in it, her and another employee who must have been newer too are trying to figure it out together, the supervisor finally comes and explains to them what to do, they attempt to do it but it fails, twice. They then proceed to get the supervisor back and this takes an easy 5 minutes atleast because she's running the drive-threw while another employee loafs, on his phone.
Finally the manager comes, confirms the situation with us in a rude tone, and processes the refund giving the new employee dirty looks while she does. They give the refund and we agreed to use the refund to get two hot beverages instead since the machine is broke. Finally at-last something goes smooth and we purchased two large french vanilla's. Yet walked away with two mediums somehow while still have paid for larges.
Overall this place is terrible and I will never go here again, this was horrible and needs addressed badly. The poor woman running that register did not have the trainers to...
Read moreI have visited this location a number of times and used to be very happy with my experiences. Recently, the quality of service has been declining every time I have visited. I went in last night (6-1-2021), an hour before close and had the worst experience yet. The girl at the register was anything but friendly. While looking at the menu for no more than a minute, she looks at me and asks quite rudely, "What do you want?" whilst rolling her eyes. As I noticed the display cases were empty, I simply asked “Are you out of baked goods for the evening?” She rolls her eyes again, looked towards two trash cans, looks back at me and responded "Uhhh, he just threw them away so what do you think?" I understand everyone is ready to close at get home but an hour before close? There was no need to respond with such an attitude either. I ordered what I needed, the employees made my coffee, and when the girl returns, she pulls a straw out and places it on the dirtiest counter I have ever seen. She then slides it towards me pushing all of the crumbs, icing, etc. with it and onto me and the floor. I told her "Have a nice night!" To which she AGAIN rolls her eyes at me. Her attitude and the cleanliness of the establishment were very disappointing to say the least and I can’t say it makes me want to return. Very disappointed...
Read moreI have tried to spend my money at this Tim Horton’s many times, but I’ve been turned away because I can’t wear a mask, and their drive thru is about as slow as the White Castle on Morse Rd was in the middle of the night before they were shut down. I happened to be right next door and walked over to order a coffee and some Timbits for my kids when I was told that they’re closed inside. At this point, I had been standing at the counter watching all 8 of the employees standing around and chatting for about 2 or 3 minutes, and 2 of them were asking to be sent home by their manage (I assume) who was telling someone else to go home because he was arguing with him. This manager told me they were closed inside and wouldn’t sell me anything. He directed me to the drive thru that had a characteristically long line all the way around the building, and I proceeded to drive away. How can so many businesses be short staffed and willing but unable to serve customers, and you have a surplus of labor and are inconveniencing people who would gladly pay you to not only stay in business, but would increase your profits while you’re unnecessarily paying for employees to...
