I am astonished at how rude the owner of this shop is. I called 2 weeks ago to schedule ear piercings for my 2 daughters. They gave me the date of tomorrow, so they were scheduling 2 weeks out. Seemed like a long time but oh well I figured they have limited availability. The owner calls me today to say the earrings haven’t arrived yet and they need to reschedule. She makes sure to immediately tell me that it’s not her fault. Ok whatever, so I ask how long it normally takes to receive the earrings and she says a week. So I ask why they still don’t have them 2 weeks later and were they not ordered when I made the appointment? She says “we’ve had walk in’s up the wazzoo and they cleared me out” So I ask why I had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment if they had all this availability for walk ins, and why no jewelry was held for a person who made an appointment. The owner says “You didn’t pay! Why would I hold product for someone who hasn’t paid? Do you think JB & Mewould hold a sweater for you for 2 weeks without payment?!” I was totally floored. I didn’t ask to wait 2 weeks. They told me I could get an appointment in 2 weeks. They never asked for up front payment either. I told the owner she was being really rude and she says “I’m not that rude, you’re exaggerating.” She’s also very willing to throw her employees under the bus, so Hannah, if you’re reading this just know that your boss says it’s all your fault. Anyway, the tattoo shop “Don’t Tell Mom” in Zeeland is getting us in tomorrow so my kids won’t have their hearts broken since they’ve been waiting patiently for 2 weeks to get their ears pierced. Really nice and cute store and greaaat service. I made an appointment on skincare and makeup service! The service includes a skincare products trial dealing with the specific skin problems and half of the makeup. You will do the other half with their instructions. Hannah who helped me today is enthusiastic about makeup and very helpful in the process of picking product and guiding me to do my half. Her energy is so infectious! Very disappointed! Over a month ago I stopped in to order a teak eyeliner I liked. It was out of stock & 2.5 weeks later was contacted to say it was back in stock. I stated "I am going on vacation for a few weeks & since I'm over 20 miles away from your location I am not sure how quickly I can get back down to the store."
