If I could leave zero stars I would. We have never in our lives been treated so poorly. My family and I went in to Olive Garden for our annual Christmas dinner. We were met by our server who said he was new so we remained patient and had empathy for him since we were a large party of 9. Come to find out he lied about being new… He Had been there for quite some time. That being said our orders were wrong, drinks not refilled, steak was like a hockey puck, we were never brought more bread like we requested, drinks took 30 minutes to come from the bar, empty dishes and glasses weren’t cleared, no waters were brought to the table after asking numerous times, soup refills were never brought until everyone was done eating, and so many more things I could mention but why bother. Fast forward to time to pay…. We were never asked how the bills were being split. He just told us at the end just use the self pay machine on the table. Charges were wrong, bills not split up so after waiting at least 25 minutes for the server to return to the table we asked for a manager. Told her we had been waiting and trying to figure out our bills on the kiosk —which we should never have to do as paying customers. I asked her (Samantha) to split the bills. She returned with tickets completely wrong again. OVER AN HOUR later they were still not correct. We paid what we needed and just wanted to get home. After receiving attitude, dirty looks, eye rolls from the server Jackson all night we were walking out and the young girl at the host stand shouts don’t come back we don’t want you here. My blood was boiling. I’m an office manager and I would never ever talk to my patients like that or treat someone so disrespectfully. My two daughters that were with me both work in restaurants and were blown away by the absolute unprofessionalism , rudeness and disrespect. It’s absolutely awful. I would like for the GM to reach out to me because if that’s how they run an establishment shame on them. We would go there every year at Christmas as a tradition and this will be the very last time. The manager of that place needs to do better, you all should be embarrassed. Train your employees to be respectful and polite no matter what the circumstance. I demand that from my employees. Remember the saying the customer is always right. Live by that and learn to respect paying customers. 9 people that will...
Read moreThis review is for the shopping center as a whole. Whoever designed the layout here deserves whatever fate is intended for the civil engineers who also designed the Crossroads shopping center.
There are far too many 4-way intersections where people need to make left turns within this shopping center, which I believe is compounded by the u-turn based traffic pattern that Holly Springs unsuccessfully tried to implement on Highway 55. These factors are made even worse by most folks not understanding how to navigate 4-way intersections with 2 stop signs, as well as highly aggressive drivers in the area.
During busy times, like weeknights and weekends, this place becomes an absolute disaster to navigate and cars are backed up by the dozens. I made the mistake of coming to grab coffee 4 days before Christmas and after getting it, was stuck in the traffic JUST INSIDE THIS SHOPPING CENTER for AN HOUR. Absolute standstill. The owners of this shopping center need to implement lights or roundabouts at the complicated intersections, or AT A MINIMUM hire traffic directors in the days prior to Christmas. I hate...
Read moreMy wife was told over the phone no reservations for groups over six (we were a party of7). Fortunately, according to their ap the wait was only 15 minutes. However, 5 minutes later we arrive and are told 35 minutes then 35 minutes became 1 hr and 13 mins. Told the waitress and she chuckled. Also, I had Sirloin and fettuccini Alfredo which I had to drink water with every bite so I could swallow because it was dry and very well done (order was medium well). Every customer in the door I noticed were told 35 minutes even though the actual wait times were changing. Very disappointing because my family and I have enjoyed other Olive Gardens. We were given two desserts from the manager for our troubles. Waitress then took credit for that as though she had convinced to manager to offer the desserts. Finally, waitress suggested we call for reservation next time. I told her we did, but were told we couldn't for a party of 7. Then she told us how bad the hostesses are and we should ask for the...
