I highly recommend Crumbl Cookies in general, but definitely the Holly Springs and Apex stores, which are managed by a phenomenal Area Manager, Matt Jongebloed.
Let me explain …
My husband and I were craving something sweet the other night and decided Crumbl was what we wanted because … yum, Crumbl … and we knew they had their french toast cookie on the menu that week. (Yes, we look every Sunday on Instagram at the coming week’s flavors, who doesn’t)?!! After completing our order via the app (gotta get our points), a delivery driver contacted us to make us aware that the french toast cookie was sold out for the day and did we want to replace them with another flavor? We went ahead and canceled our order, because that was 50% of our six cookie order and the main reason we wanted them. Anyway, after a few phone calls from two drivers and some confusion, the order was canceled and a refund was sent back to my cc. Perfect.
But my story doesn’t end there. Matt, the Area Manager, reached out to me directly and wanted to express how sorry he was that they didn’t have what we wanted in stock ... AND … he was going to personally bring us another order the following day, at a convenient time for us, on Crumbl. Uhh, wow! Matt went totally above and beyond to right a wrong, his words, which we weren’t overly upset over. I mean, they’re Crumbl cookies, but in the grand scheme of life, they’re still cookies. It’s not like we wouldn’t try again another time. But Matt wanted to do this for us, and he was so awesome about it! He personally delivered them, along with a note of appreciation. I don’t know about y’all, but I wish all businesses were like this. I feel that most businesses have lost their zeal for customer appreciation anymore. Not Crumbl, and not Matt Jongebloed. I will definitely be going back and sharing this story with anyone who is craving something sweet.
P.S. The cookies and cream tres leches cake … so moist and delicious! Will want this...
Read moreCrumbl Cookies Caramel Popcorn: Crumbl’s official description for this cookie is “a buttery cookie topped with sweet caramel cream cheese frosting, crunchy caramel popcorn pieces, and a light drizzle of melted caramel “. The best cookies from Crumbl in my opinion all have one thing in common, they have a thick layer of Crumbl’s phenomenal cream cheese frosting on top. This cookie checks that all important box and also takes it up a notch by converting the cream cheese frosting into caramel cream cheese frosting. Not to be overshadowed by the frosting, the body of the cookie is dense, soft, chewy, thick, and buttery. As for the caramel popcorn pieces on top, they tasted fine but are mostly for show. The light drizzle of melted caramel provides an additional touch of flavor. The shop serves it warm, but it tastes just as good chilled in the fridge. Crumbl claims this is a new cookie (maybe they surreptitiously tweaked the recipe?) but the only noticeable difference from the last time I had this cookie is the naming. The full listed name is now Rob's Backstage Caramel Popcorn Cookie ft. The Jonas Brothers. I'm not going to call it that though because I'm a man in my 30's and could not care less for The Jonas Brothers(they also have nothing to do with the cookie, so weird association choice by Crumbl). The CARAMEL POPCORN cookie is Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews My Top Crumbl Cookies: Caramel Popcorn Salted Caramel Cheesecake Blue Monster Cake Batter/Birthday Cake Mallow...
Read moreCrumbl. 🖤 I want to give a huge HUGE shoutout and mention to the new crumbl store + owners. As a small business owner, I know how hard you have to work and how much sacrifice goes into a business and these owners are not slacking. Crumbl has a partnership with delivery services like ”DoorDash” and “UberEats”. I ordered through the crumbl app for the first time, it stated delivered a little while later but I couldn’t find them anywhere. No where on the porch, security cameras had no one coming into our driveway, etc. After calling to confirm if they’d been delivered, I found them — placed on the truck. Not only did the owners apologize but they personally drove and delivered HOT cookies, they gave us a few extra and a sincere apology. It wasn’t truly their fault due to it being DoorDash/Uber eats in the first place!! That’s excellent customer service. Thank you so much for being so kind, thoughtful and understanding. Hope you know how much it meant to us! We will be back, again & again. Glad to have such great businesses in the community! By the way, the Snickerdoodle...
