The reasons Iâm giving you one star is to be able to comment. This is directly to the employees and owner Israel as he says he is. My husband and I have shopped and had jewelry for years but my latest experience was my last. This place has terrible service and here are the reasons. I went on December 16, 2020 they gave me the guarantee that my daughterâs necklace would be ready before Christmas. To my knowledge this necklace was overpriced and the instructions were specifically written on the recipe for that reason. So that I wouldnât have to come back or there would be no delays in giving my daughter her Christmas gift. I specifically told the lady that the necklace was for a 17 year old. The owner whom is the one that designs the jewelry I guess, doesnât follow instructions very well. It doesnât really matter how old my daughter is. What matters is the price I paid for this 14K gold necklace with her name plate on it, which by the way was selected from a sample that they had on display, so all he had to do is make exactly that size but I guess that was to difficult. He made the name tag so small you had to look through a telescope to see the name thats how little it was! Mind you the instructions were written on the recipe several times or he could easily just get the display and make it that size, what I paid for. This necklace cost me $1,535.45 and honestly I felt I was getting ripped off and felt like they were laughing at my face! Little do they know that my dad was also a jewelry owner. Whom is now retired. So I knew that what I had paid for, I wasnât pleased with it at all. This was already my 3rd attempt and I was already annoyed and irritated every time Iâd walk into the store and they would open the necklace to show me it wasnât even 1inch bigger than what I had asked originally gotten from them. Honestly if you donât know how to follow instructions or copy then I honestly donât think your business will be success and your customers will not be happy with their service. I would love Israel to respond to me, if he would go to a restaurant and order a porterhouse steak đ„© and they give him a chicken breast how would you feel, waiters in the restaurant laugh in your face!! Well this is exactly how I felt for the price I paid for my daughterâs necklace that was finally made a month later. To top it off the employees there always seem lost and they make it seem as if they donât know what they are doing! The lady with the black long hair has a disgusting attitude and needs to get training in customer service, she is very rude and she doesnât even know how to negotiate with a client. If she doesnât like her job she should retire. Iâm sure you know that the reason why you have a 4.7 đ is because you beg your clients to write good reviews about you. But, itâs very disappointing to know that you have such a great location and nice jewelry. But, you are loosing clients left and right. I donât care if I have to drive further but, definitely not returning to your store! Also please donât waist your time or my time in responding. I just want everyone to know that this place sucks and has terrible service and way too...
Read moreAs I am ready to rate this company I completely observe and meditated on my feelings I wanted to make sure that I did not want to post a review based on my emotional feeling at the time of service. Let me be clear, I have been a client of this jewelry place for years now, when they were a small little shop next to Sally's beauty supply. Now they have expanded and they look great, bigger, more help behind the desk. I was truly happy for them for their success and I was proud to contribute to the local businesses. Now here is my last experience. I took a invicta watch, a stherling and a Swiss watch to get a battery for two of them and have some links removed to two of them as well. They open at 10am so I showed up at 10:20 to give them time to set up and so on , ( thought I was being nice ) when I get there I was greeted very kindly and I love that, you can tell a lot of a person by way of saying good morning. ( I thought to my self his is a great start ) ( little did I know what was in store for me ) the lady tells me the jewelry has not arrived yet ( by now is 10:25 ) I am thinking wow this is no good definetely is not the I M jewelry shop I know . And then they tell me they could not river my invicta links , they could not touch it . WOW !!!!!!!!! bare this in mind at one point they sold invicta watches there. The lady asked the store manager and the manages simply told me they could not touch Thank You very much watch. ( wow ) so I told them I would sign a waiver of liability I just want my links removed from the invicta watch that all. Anyhow she referred to a store in southland mall . That's a 100 + blocks away to the these two links removed. So I took all my watches and left . I could not believe that they could not service my needs and they are simple needs just two batteries and links to be remove. And I was a returning customer, they have been my jewelry store for years and I referred everyone I know to them. Well that will stop today. I will no longer refer customer to them I will no longer get me watches service there, I will no longer buy anything from them, I will no longer support this local business. I took my simple needs business to sedanos supermarket . Inside sedanos they have a little jewelry shop called H B C joyeria and they did the service I requiered for a very good price and the customer service was very pleasant and proffesional. We need to let our local community know of the service our local business provide. And support Jose who deserve our hard earn dollars. Thank you for your time P.S. Stay away from I M jewelry they do not deserve your...
Read moreI see all of the favorable reviews and felt it necessary to post this negative review as a caution to future customers. I have NEVER been so disrespected and dismissed as a customer in my life as I was going to this jeweler. I took a heirloom watch that belonged to my deceased father in for a repair as it's winding mechanism was not functioning. I dropped it off Sept 4th and was given a receipt that stated I would be notified by Sept 11th of the estimate for repair as they needed to send the watch out for repair. That date was stamped on my receipt. Never heard back from jeweler. I waited more time and after not hearing from the jeweler for two more weeks I returned to the store. When I presented my receipt to the clerk I knew something was wrong when she came out from the back room and went to another older lady who I think may be a manager. That person went into the back room and returned with no watch. A third person ( a younger lady) also got involved. I was there with my wife for what seemed to be 20 - 25 minutes and NO ONE came to us to tell us what was going on after I presented the receipt. Several other customers were attended to but we were left ignored. It was clear that they could not find my watch. Finally a fourth English speaking young lady came to us to inform me that the watch wasn't ready. This was clearly a cover to the fact that they had no idea where my watch was. When I pointed out to this person that my receipt stated I would have received a notice of the repair estimate by Sept 11th and that I was never notified, she brushed that off by saying that the date was automatically printed on the receipt but really didnt mean anything. At that point I demanded return of my watch and was told that it was out for repair and needed to be returned to the store. A week later I was notified that my watch was in and when I went to get it back the clerk went to process it as a completed transaction. I had to inform her nothing was done to the watch and signed for the watch and left just as angry as on my prior visit. I don't know if it is incompetence, irresponsibility, indifference or what but what I encountered at IM Jewelers at the Homestead location by its staff was insulting and unacceptable. For future customers make sure you understand this store's policies, get receipts, keep track of ur information, stay on top of these people, and be prepared to deal with some unprofessional, rude and uncaring staff, typical of today's younger generation....
