I don’t often leave bad reviews, but I feel that this one is warranted. I wanted to like this place, but for such an expensive açai bowl, I was super disappointed. Overall, the Açai bowl tasted very sour — but that could just be personal preference. I ordered the small Tahiti bowl, and I think I got half a banana on top, with blueberries and a single unripe strawberry. The biggest disappointment were the cacao nibs. If you look at the pictures, what they put in my bowl after I paid $1.50 extra for the cacao, are not cacao nibs. They’re clearly some type of chocolate chips, and they tasted sweet too. Also, most other places already add bee pollen or other toppings, but here each additional topping costs $1.50 extra. Lastly, one pet peeve is that it’s basically a self service screen and all they do is hand you the bowl at the end, but the machine still prompts you for a tip. This tipping culture is getting...
Read moreWas sent here to pick an uber eats order for a customer. Restaurant was closed and when I called they declined the call and ask me to text them. They could have simply said they were closed so that I could end the order and continue on making money but instead they preferred to just steal my time in the middle of the breakfast rush. To waste 10 minutes of my time to save them the few seconds it would have taken to send a text is such an a hole thing to do. This occurred on Sunday, April 3rd....
