I don’t often leave bad reviews, but I feel that this one is warranted. I wanted to like this place, but for such an expensive açai bowl, I was super disappointed. Overall, the Açai bowl tasted very sour — but that could just be personal preference. I ordered the small Tahiti bowl, and I think I got half a banana on top, with blueberries and a single unripe strawberry. The biggest disappointment were the cacao nibs. If you look at the pictures, what they put in my bowl after I paid $1.50 extra for the cacao, are not cacao nibs. They’re clearly some type of chocolate chips, and they tasted sweet too. I couldn’t finish the last half of the bowl because it was so sweet as I chewed them. I really don’t believe they are what they claim them to be. Also, most other places already add bee pollen or other toppings, but here each additional topping costs $1.50 extra. Lastly, one pet peeve is that it’s basically a self service screen and all they do is hand you the bowl at the end, but the machine still prompts you for a tip. This tipping culture is getting out of hand.

This is my favorite Acai bowl and location! Theres an avocado crema add on that has changed the way I consume Acai 🤤 The beautiful dining area in the back is extremely relaxing & the owner is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. If I didn’t live so far on the other side of town, I’d be here all the time.

Unfortunately not the tastiest bowl in the city, it was very dry and very basic even though it is described differently in the menu. There are only two tables to sit at. No toilet, no wifi, more of a to-go shop.

Was sent here to pick an uber eats order for a customer. Restaurant was closed and when I called they declined the call and ask me to text them. Then they let me sit for 10 minutes awaiting a response that was to never come. They could have simply said they were closed so that I could end the order and continue on making money but instead they preferred to just steal my time in the middle of the breakfast rush. To waste 10 minutes of my time to save them the few seconds it would have taken to send a text is such an a hole thing to do. This occurred on Sunday, April 3rd....

I thought I had tasted acai bowls in Honolulu. I was sadly mistaken. The bowls provided by the Acai Republic were fantastic! The acai base was as thick and dark as fudge. My wife had the Aloha and I had the Tahitian, both toppings were fresh and added to the delicious treat. I have been there twice this trip and going one more time before we leave....
