While there are a lot of positive reviews, unfortunately we had a disappointing experience. The first umbrella that Abraham delivered was malfunctioning. The top of the umbrella was rotating on a frequent basis and we had to hold the crank to keep the umbrella in place. Eventually, the umbrella flipped inside-out twice before we contacted Abraham. When we met him to pick up a new umbrella, he said that the problem was something he has never seen before and if the second umbrella has any issues, then we will have to cover additional costs. However, when we went to the same spot in Waikiki with the second umbrella, there were no issues whatsoever. After we returned the second umbrella to Abraham, he mentioned that he found no issues with the first umbrella. We expressed our concerns but we felt dismissed, as he quickly responded by saying that all umbrellas are checked on a regular basis by his staff. We understand that mistakes or malfunctioning equipment can happen, but based on our first experience with the first umbrella, we are certain that the umbrella was malfunctioning and wasn't...

I called Abraham by mistake and it was the best misdial ever. I was trying to reach Hilton Hawaiian rentals to see of it was really $70 for lounge chairs and an umbrella for the day (and yes, that is the correct cost). Abraham did not know if he had any inventory as it was a holiday weekend and things we reopening on the island. He called his coworkers and worked a last minute miracle getting us 3 beach chairs and an umbrella. The cost for 5 days was 1.5 days of rental from the Hilton. Abe kept in contact by text and delivered our gear to us at the hotel. The chairs have a built in cooler and personals pouch and the umbrella corkscrews into the sand. Highly portable, easy to set up. Perfect for us to take all over the island to enjoy time at other great beaches. Highly recommend this...
