Came here around a month back. Although it seems like a quaint place from the outside, thereās plenty of selection to look through, and I definitely could have spent hours here if I wanted to. The owner is very friendly and approachable, so if you want to see an item or have any questions, donāt hesitate to ask. As with my experience, he provided an interesting historical story for every item I asked about. If you know a certain category of items youāre interested in, you can mention that too and heāll point you in the right direction, since some items may be secretly hiding waiting to be discovered. At first, I was a bit overwhelmed with the amount of stuff in a small space, but I soon found a few goodies to remember our anniversary trip. While in Honolulu for business and travel, I searched for antique storesāa must for me in every city I visit. Being a landlocked island, Honolulu has a limited antique market, but luckily, I discovered this gem, packed with history and treasures at every turn.
As I dug through the store, PakƩ shared stories from his life and his deep passion for preserving culture and history. I truly hope he can continue his work despite the high rent prices in Honolulu.
