I’ve been passing by what I now know is their second location close to my home over the past several weeks and thankfully curiosity got the best of me. After seeing what they offer, something told me to just give it a shot. I’ve been needing a massage for a few years now so why not? Btw, I accidentally booked online at their 574 North Vineyard location, but thankfully they were super accommodating and understanding. Apparently I’m not the only one who has done that so that makes me feel better, but I know now so just be mindful when you book too.
I had to wait just a little bit because my masseuse was waiting for me at the other location, but I didn’t mind since it was my fault and I had nothing else better to do. Tina didn’t take long to get there and was ready to go. She greeted me as if I didn’t cause any inconvenience. Her energy was very professional and calm. Already it was off to a great start! When Tina began I had no clue what I was about to experience and that this was going to be my first true professional massage in my life. I’ve had massages before, but nothing like what I had today.
I feel that Tina gave me more than a traditional (or what I know it as) Lomi Lomi/Swedish massage. I didn’t realize what I was getting myself into and how relaxing it would be. Tina was always checking in to make sure I was comfortable, making sure the pressure was good, and always asked permission before doing specific stretches, etc. I enjoyed the fact that a good portion of the massage was done using the sheet as a barrier. This sounds contradictory, but I’m not big on skin to skin contact especially since after covid. Plus I feel somewhat self-conscious. Tina did such a great job at making me let go of all my stresses/worries and I forgot that I was.
Overall, I loved how clean the space was, that the room had it’s own AC you could control the temperature/setting, ambiance lighting, that they played relaxing/calming music in the background, and the hot towels towards the end of the session. I feel that the pricing if affordable for everything I got. I booked the Lomi Lomi/Swedish Massage for 1 hour ($70). I highly recommend you give them a try and I’ll definitely be coming...
Read moreGot a 90-minute Relaxation Combo massage here the other week and thought it was a great deal for $100! I like the stretching aspect that's included in addition to the massage. Vivian was my masseuse and did a good job. They actually switched my masseuse partway through because the first woman suggested it since I preferred more medium pressure and not deep tissue style that she usually did. I appreciated them making the offer after checking in with me a couple of times about my massage to make sure I got the treatment I was looking for. This is a really convenient spot. There are metered stalls on Nuuanu Ave. (free on Sundays/holidays) but they have 2 stalls available in the lot behind the building also. It's a small space and the building is older, but they've renovated the inside so it's clean and comfortable. I also like that you can book online through...
Read moreFive stars! I did not make an appointment but even as a walk in they were able to accommodate immediately. The staff is very friendly and kind. The massage room was clean and there is a decent bathroom and shower as well.
As for the massage it was excellent! My therapist was Abby. She is small, but she is mighty! I gained some weight this year, and just recently started exercising again so my body is getting used to being sore. When she started off so strong I was worried the massage might be painful but it was perfect. Abby searched for knots and worked on those, as well as provided some light stretching. She also took the time to set a relaxing atmosphere. It was a legit combination massage with strong, medium, and light pressure to help my muscles recover and also allow me to relax. I will definitely be back....
