AVOID THIS PLACE, take your money elsewhere! I highly recommend you find another rental company nearby. I tried to rent a moped and started the rental process in his disorganized, janky “office” but after charging me, he wouldn’t let me rent the moped because he did not feel confident enough in my driving skills (even though I told him it would be my first time in a very long time). Within the first 2 minutes / 15 feet (remember you need to catch some speed to go), he made his decision to not give us the moped. He refused and said he would also not refund our payment for the rental. He pointed out that his contract says there are no partial refund for early returns and I told him I agreed but that in this particular situation he did not even rent me the moped. Riding mopeds is the only way to see the island. Checked out other scooter rental spots and most of them were old beat up scooters. He had the nicest selection in the island with 2020 models, so we decided to go with this spot. I’m glad I did, It was the most awesome experience ever. The owner was super chill and friendly, he took the time out of his day to ride with us and give us a private tour and show us all his favorite spots and the best views to catch the sunset on this beautiful island. This has been my first ever trip to Hawaii and by having crossed paths with this wonderful of a human being named Ed the trip to say the least was simply phenomenal. I was looking for something to travel upon to most parts of the island without expensive Uber and rentals and Ed provided me with a fantastic moped which I rode all along the island for a week for such a low price too and it was such a surreal and indescribable experience! And of all the things you do in Hawaii please at least visit Ed believe me he is just simply amazing and you will have a great friend...
