Kolohe at the 'Alohilani Resort — Local services in Honolulu

My friend and I had a very poor experience coming in to get custom anklets. After spending 178 dollars each on anklet with two charms the worker told us to return when we received a text and that it would take her twenty minutes to place the charms on each anklet. After waiting an hour we went back to check the status to which she told us she hadn't started on them yet. We asked to return the anklets at that point as we were tired and they hadn't even been made yet. She then informed us that all sales were final despite no signage or communication of this previously. For this high price we expected a much higher level of service, especially when there's so many other competitors in the area. You can see I normally leave great 5 star reviews when deserved as I try to help local businesses, but this left a really poor taste in my mouth.

Update: The response from the owner is misleading as we were only offered a 30% discount from the anklets, and we were told SEVERAL hours later that the anklets were ready for pick up that night if we wanted to(By this point we were too exhausted) and discussed picking the anklets up the next day. We received a text message the next day updating us that they were closing early (2:30 pm as opposed to 7pm) and that if we wanted to pick up the anklets we had to come in early. We work full time so this is not feasible. As of right now we still do not have the anklets. Also would like to reiterate that at time of requesting a refund no charms were placed on the anklet nor was it soldered on yet. We were informed it was non-refundable because the material was already cut, but we did not visibly witness this unless it was done without our knowing as I'll...

Beautiful and lasting jewelry, excellent customer service. I bought my wife two necklaces from the Alohilani Kolohe when we stayed at the Alohilani for our honeymoon in December 2020. She has since worn at least on every day. Neither one has tarnished or broken, and she has not had to clean them. The quality is excellent. We were treated very well in the store, too. I just ordered an anklet for her from here for Valentine's Day with express shipping (so worth the cost to get it quickly), and it arrived exactly when it was supposed to -- even during a Texas winter storm (I know, not really a disaster, hahah!). I needed to make a last minute change to my order and customer service helped me on the phone immediately. It looks beautiful, and I can't wait to surprise my wife with it. Whether you live in Hawaii or you're on the mainland like me, and if you're wondering if this is a great jewelry store to purchase from, I cannot recommend...

I am from Maui and I see a lot of bangle jewelry made from locals, however I came to Oahu and stumbled upon this gem of a store, I met the sweetest girl working whom was absolutely amazing! She made sure to ask what I liked and wanted and after I told her I was interested in bangle jewelry she told me they custom made bangles. I have small wrists so most bangles don’t fit me properly. She showed me a variety of sizes, gold filled and let me know I could pick out my own pearls and shells to insure I was happy! I had three made and I will say I’m beyond pleased with all of them! They fit amazing and she went above and beyond to custom make them the exact way I wanted! They are high quality, they fit amazing and they were actually cheaper than a lot online or on Maui.
