I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting the Lego Store and I must say, it was nothing short of a disappointment. The biggest letdown of all was the abysmal customer service that left me feeling frustrated and unheard. It's astonishing to see a company with such a renowned brand fail so miserably when it comes to basic customer care.
First and foremost, let's talk about their complete lack of response to phone calls. In my attempts to reach out to the store, I found myself dialing their number numerous times, only to be greeted with the endless ringing and no one bothering to pick up. It's as if the staff had all vanished into thin air or simply couldn't be bothered to answer their phones. If you're looking for assistance or have a question, good luck getting any sort of help from this store because they clearly don't prioritize customer support.
When I finally managed to visit the store in person, the experience didn't get any better. The staff members appeared disinterested and disengaged, more focused on their own personal conversations than assisting customers. They seemed to lack any knowledge or enthusiasm about the products they were selling, providing vague and unhelpful responses to even the simplest of inquiries. It felt like I was bothering them by being there, as if my presence inconvenienced their day.
Furthermore, the overall organization and cleanliness of the store were subpar. Lego sets were haphazardly placed on shelves, making it difficult to find what I was looking for. The store was littered with misplaced pieces and debris, giving off an impression of neglect and disregard for the customer experience. It's truly disheartening to see such a lack of attention to detail in a store that revolves around precision and creativity.
In conclusion, my visit to the Lego Store was an absolute nightmare. The consistently unanswered phone calls and the apathetic attitude of the staff were utterly disappointing. The disorganized and unkempt state of the store only added to my frustration. If you value quality customer service and a pleasant shopping experience, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The Lego Store failed to meet even the most basic expectations, and I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere...
Read moreReally Cool store. Was honestly surprised that Waikiki had an official Lego Store. Keep in mind this location is; little old-fashioned, the staff was telling me. SIMPLY, they can NOT have a lego set shipped out to an individual address, even if they bought a set in store. The trade off though, is they have very Hard to Find Lego Sets in store! Such as the Effiel Tower, or Lego Titanic! The staff were very helpful, they gave 2 options
If you want to get a Hard To find Lego set, often people will buy it and get a separate luggage to store the set they purchased
Other way, below on the 1st floor of the mall, is a Post Office, so you could Mail the Lego Set(s) you just have bought and test your luck with the mail service.
LASTLY, and IMPORTANT, I wanted to buy a $20 Lego set in Cash, they only take...
Read moreI have loved LEGO since I was a little kid. I do think they have taken the imagination out of playing with them considering all the special kits these days. When I was playing with LEGOS the only limiting factor was ones own imagination. Now it's money and losing the directions. It's kind of a shame in my humble opinion. Anyway, this store is fun. Although, there is very little hands-on (probably still due to stupid COVID) with the pieces. Still cool to see all the amazing kits. Albeit very expensive kits. I'm glad I kept all my LEGOS from the past decades. I will pass them on to my Grandkids when they get a little older, and won't swallow them. Then I'll show them how to use their imagination and creative powers to build anything they want and better than all those kits...
