Last Wednesday I was out and about basically reminiscing. Touching the walls, bricks , the structure of these buildings are going to last forever. This store... kindness of this woman asked for me to come in. The door opens the smell 🌿🌱🪻🍃...then..🌬️🌬️.. anxieties went right out the door and I removed my footwear, habit! A wonderful bookstore with a well-curated collection of local authors! It has been hard to shop for souvineers while on this trip. I really believe in the Hawaiian sovereignty movement, and understand the damaging effect of overtourism. By chance I found this bookstore while in the area during an outing. I am glad I decided to go. Lots of books related to the Hawaiian Language, History, Culture, Mythology and more.
