I've been trusting my eyelids and eyebrows to Yuriko of Summer Eyes for several years now. Yuriko is a very lively and personable woman, and I look forward to my sessions with her. She's a perfectionist when it comes to her work and I appreciate that because my eyes are especially difficult to work with. I'm single-eyed and my eye lids are uneven. Drawing on cat eyes took me forever because the line would move when opening and closing my eyes. I could tell Yuriko was having a hard time with them too, but she really took her time to do a good job. They looked way better than what I could've done. They've also lasted for about three years now with no signs of fading. My eyebrows on the other hand, are normal. The issue I had with them when I went to another tattoo makeup place before was that when they started to fade, they would look weird and splotchy. I would have to fill them in everyday until I got them redone. Yuriko uses special organic dye and eventually when they started to fade, it was very even-toned and still looked good. On my first visit, I explained my vertigo condition and how I really wanted lash extensions but have difficulty lying flat and closing my eyes for long periods of time. She was empathetic and sincerely wanted to accommodate me. She allowed me to use my pillows to elevate my head; trying her best to work in an uncomfortable and painful position; working on one eye at a time so that I could keep the other eye open. Her non-threatening progression of keeping my first session short and extending a little more each time allowed me to build my endurance.
