Last minute during MDW, my out of town in-laws wanted us to do a gender reveal while they were here which I obliged because I wanted to do something special for them. I originally had planned to do the cake reveal privately with my SO and still wanted to keep the same reveal.

I called around a few places on a Friday and Robert answered my call! ❤️ He was able to make my gender reveal cake dreams come through for next day pick up!! IF THAT ISN’T service, I don’t know what is!

The cake was delicious! Everything turned out the way I asked for the cake to look. IF I’m am nitpicking, one thing I would point out is I wish the gender color frosting inside went all the way around the cake. The gender color was only in the middle portion of cake. Luckily, we had used wine glasses to push into the cake which hit the middle to show the gender.

I highly recommend A Cake Addict! I wanted to congratulate my wife for doing well in college, so I got her a sciencey cake. I asked for DNA on top and a certain type of laboratory test result on the side. What a weird request, right? Well he did it amazingly anyway! It looks exactly like the image I gave him. And he did it SUPER fast too, because I wanted the excitement of her good grades to be fresh when we celebrated. He was super thorough in asking me what exactly I wanted the cake to look like, and he did a great job of using his own artistic judgement when I asked him to do so. Seriously, top notch work here. The BEST cake I ever had! We have a thing in my family, on your birthday you get any custom cake you want. It’s a really bad obsession. This year our cake lady was out so i googled cakes near me and Cake Addict popped up. Robert answered my same day request with a smile.
