I used to love this place and donāt mind driving 40 minutes from home. This time my experience was different. I was 5 min late to class and so was another lady. The front desk receptionist said I was a few min late but that I could still take the class. I set my things down and headed to the reformer. I noticed the instructor went to speak with the front desk receptionist and asked her to remove me from the class for being late, min you they have a 10 minute late policy NOT 5 minutes. I got removed from the class but the other lady who walked in at the same time as I did was allowed to take the class and wasnāt removed. I felt discriminated. I told the receptionist that I was willing to pay their $12 late fee in order to take the class. They offered me another class that same day but at a different time, but I was not willing to drive 40 minutes home and another 40 to come back to class. Later that afternoon I received an email that I was getting charged $18 for not showing up to class. I called and explained I showed up to class 5 minutes late and was removed not that I didnāt show up. I was planning on getting my membership with them but I will take my money...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreplease add your late policy and any info regarding late fees and no show fees to your class description. to say something is in the waiver nowadays isnāt enough. I ran into unexpected traffic, I tried locating any info about a late fee, but all I could find was the description of the class. I arrive, and I expected not to be let in as it is a Pilates class, understandable, but if anyone is wondering, it is 6 minutes according to front desk, makes total sense! but I and I feel many others would appreciate this info being somewhere accessible aside from the waiver that is signed once! I was able to be placed into another class, I am unsure if Iām receiving any late chargeā¦. Once your offered to be switched to another class, that class is only valid the day of! I will say Iām having to move things around to make sure I get my moneys worth instead of it being wasted due to no refunds. Also I think you can park in the back, but thereās no info regarding that, very little parking up front, please let your clients know...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove this Pilates studio, Iāve been a member for the past 7 months! Everyone is so welcoming and sweet. I love the intimate classes (5 reformers) and how the instructors take the time to get to know you and correct your form. What sets this studio apart from other studios is they always do little things to give back to their members - holiday gifts, celebrating milestones, classes to bring awareness to certain causes, and most recently, hosting complementary classes for pregnant women. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a studio that will give you a great workout, but also gives back to the community and empowers women. š
My favorite instructors are Valeska and Sheridan. Val teaches classical Pilates- her energy is calm and peaceful and her instructions are easy to follow. Sheridan teaches more contemporary Pilates - her bubbly personality combined with her upbeat playlist make her classes so fun....
