Chef did not show up! Booked this class as a surprise for my partner and I was so excited to finally learn to cook my favorite meal. Originally selected an earlier time for the class but due to a conflict on the chef's end, the time was changed. The chef communicated with me days prior to the class confirming we had no food allergies, which i thought was nice. However, on the day of our reservation, we drove an hour to the "chef's place," which appeared to be someone's home, knocked on the door multiple times, rang the doorbell and nothing. I tried calling the phone number listed for the chef and still got nothing. I left a message through the reservation link, and saw that the chef saw it, but still, nothing. After a while of sitting and waiting for something to happen, we got too hungry and left. So, although I cannot properly rate the actual cooking experience or meal, I can say that based on what was experienced, we will never be using cozymeal or Chef...

We didn't know what to expect since the class was in a home, not a commercial place, but Chef Michelle's warm, happy attitude put us at ease right away. She and her colleague, Chef Christmas, were so informative and a lot of fun. They are professionals with tons of experience to impart. Their kitchen and even their backyard vegetable garden were amazing! And they decorated the table and dining room with an Indian décor to match the meal, which was Indian food. We also had our choice of music while cooking and while eating, which added the perfect touch to a perfect evening. Ooooh, and the food...everything was much better than what you could get in a restaurant, but the salad especially stood out! It was so different, and soooo good. Loved, loved the dressing and the spiciness of the salad ingredients. Bottom line: was it great? Yes! Would we do it...

I registered for one of these cooking classes through the email blast from Things To Do in Houston This Weekend. Unfortunately not only was the event NOT for the weekend it was advertised for, but they're unwilling to issue a refund for reservations made because of the error. Their policy is "Absolutely No Refunds" even if they make an error or deliberately misrepresent event dates in their advertising. This is a buyer beware because if you're from out of town or you travel frequently for work as I do and rescheduling is not really an option, you're out of luck and made a donation to a for profit establishment. Yes, I'm also filing a False Advertising complaint with the TX Attorney General as no one else should be subject to this type of...

Chef Michelle and Chef Chris were fantastic. Our meal was amazing from start to finish. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and I booked the dinner as a surprise for him. He was definitely surprised and loved the meal and the entire experience. The chefs were professional, courteous, and attentive to our needs throughout the meal. My kitchen was left spotless when they were finished. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone.

Our cooking class with Chef Michelle exceeded our expectations. Underestimating Houston traffic, we arrived a little late and Chef Michelle was extremely understanding. The experience was amazing from start to finish and Chef Michelle made us feel welcomed immediately. My wife and I had a lot of fun, learned a ton and enjoyed our Indian cuisine at a beautiful dining table, in an intimate setting. Highly recommend!
