Chef did not show up! Booked this class as a surprise for my partner and I was so excited to finally learn to cook my favorite meal. Originally selected an earlier time for the class but due to a conflict on the chef's end, the time was changed. The chef communicated with me days prior to the class confirming we had no food allergies, which i thought was nice. However, on the day of our reservation, we drove an hour to the "chef's place," which appeared to be someone's home, knocked on the door multiple times, rang the doorbell and nothing. I tried calling the phone number listed for the chef and still got nothing. I left a message through the reservation link, and saw that the chef saw it, but still, nothing. Loved, loved the dressing and the spiciness of the salad ingredients. Bottom line: was it great? Yes! Would we do it...

Unfortunately not only was the event NOT for the weekend it was advertised for, but they're unwilling to issue a refund for reservations made because of the error. Their policy is "Absolutely No Refunds" even if they make an error or deliberately misrepresent event dates in their advertising. This is a buyer beware because if you're from out of town or you travel frequently for work as I do and rescheduling is not really an option, you're out of luck and made a donation to a for profit establishment. Yes, I'm also filing a False Advertising complaint with the TX Attorney General as no one else should be subject to this type of...
