***WARNING: If you are looking for a place that offers genuine reflexology, avoid this place!!!*** I recently visited Midtown Reflexology and had a terrible experience. I went in looking for reflexology, but what I received was far from it. Initially, I was misled by their package deal which included both a massage and reflexology (Soul to Soul). The first red flag was being required to pay upfront before the appointment. I asked if they would be able to work on my hands and feet, explaining my issues with pain. The lady said yes. I proceeded to pay since I needed relief from hand pain and my usual reflexologist had moved away. When I arrived for my appointment the next day, the same lady who had initially assisted me led me to the room. Being my first visit, I wasn’t familiar with their routine, and she didn’t provide any guidance. The masseuse came in and had me begin soaking my feet in water, then she started massaging my scalp and hands. One of my primary concerns was my hand pain, and I expected targeted reflexology to relieve the tension. Unfortunately, the service was more like a gentle hand rub, and she pulled on my fingers. Feeling confused and unsatisfied, I stopped the session to clarify if what she was doing was reflexology. She claimed it was, but the experience didn’t align with my previous reflexology sessions (at other places). When I expressed my concerns, she went and got the lady from the front, who, while speaking to her, was visibly upset! I explained what I came there for and what reflexology was. Had to de-escalate from how flustered she looked. She spoke with the lady who was giving the massage and directed her to spend more time on my hands and feet and decrease the time on my back. The lady continued, but she still had no idea what she was doing. I tell you, my nail tech does a better job massaging my hands! This lady had no experience in reflexology or massage therapy—it showed from my hands to my feet, and she used her knuckles on my neck the entire time. Not sure if she was upset, but she was quite aggressive on my neck with her knuckles—it felt like retaliation. At the end, I asked the lady in the front if they had certified people working there, and her response was, “They don’t have to be certified in the state of Texas to do reflexology.” But in the room, when she was upset and I asked her about what I paid for, she said a massage with reflexology. So, any person can do reflexology, and she isn’t a certified masseuse. What in the world—explains so much! The session was awkward, particularly when she asked me to remove my top in the session. This felt unnecessary and uncomfortable since they decided I would not be having my back done (Door doesn’t close all the way). The overall experience was extremely disappointing and far from professional. This place does not offer authentic reflexology and is not worth your time or money. I strongly advise doing thorough research and considering other options before choosing a reflexology service. I have no clue how they have good reviews. Save yourself the hassle and find a certified, professional reflexologist elsewhere. Date was 7/19/2024

In town for a conference. Stopped in for a much needed massage. Excellent service and we did the 80 minute sole to sole. Was terrific. If you are not used to therapeutic massage you need to ask for a lighter pressure. These guys mean business!!! I have zero knots left in my shoulders and had a great nights sleep. Will definitely visit again when back on Houston.

I had come here once for a foot massage and wanted to get a gift card. First, this lady in the front desk is extremely rude when im asking questions about the services in each package. Its like it bothers her to explain me what each service would include. She was rude and apparently she has already a lot of customers to maje her living and dont need one more just by the way she spoke to me! RUDE RUDE RUDE Second, once i chose a service to buy ( which i was already regretting due to her attitude) she said she could not give me a receipt because im paying $75 in cash! Why not? Is she hiding her cash from the IRS/ taxes?

Again, is all about how you say things and how you treat your customers. I took my money back, this place does not deserve neither my money, time or even me sending additional customers or friends with a gift card!

I am going to any other reflexology place but this one.

God bless America and prevent us from more people like this owning and managing businesses! Bless her heart, she is probably very misserable in her job anyways! Otherwise she would be more kind to...

2023- Back to five stars. As any business it has its ups and downs. It is now thriving again. Good service, excellent massages. I do recommend.

2nd review- 2021. I’m sad to see what used to be a good place turn so much for the worst. I’ve been coming here since 2016 when it was small, you always had an experienced therapist and prices were the best in the area, I called and they called me by my name. Even when covid regulations permitted we tried to go also for support. Now it’s a hit or miss of who you get, being 3 out of 5 a bad massage. Prices went up, taking part of the tip most of us used to give. I used to give away giftcards but since they don’t have a digital record of them, if my friends misplaced them it’s money down the toilet. Last but not least, the customer service plummeted, the girls on the phone couldn’t care less and treat you as a number. I kept my old review down for reference.

Old review - 5 stars Always my favorite place! Prices are good, technique is excellent, service amazing, easy to make reservation, no complications....
