GameStop — Local services in Houston

I have a pretty funny story. I went to return a Gamestop Premium refurbished New Nintendo 3DS XL, including the original gamestop box and stating that it was refurbished with accessories, and I was turned down because I was returning an opened "NEW" Nintendo 3DS XL. The associate told me that I could not return it until her manager returned from lunch. I said that the NEW in NEW 3DS XL is the name of the system, not the condition of the product. (As you could tell because I had the Gamestop refurbished box and my return slip said refurbished.) Needless to say, waste of time and will never return to this location. It's pretty sad because I know that Gamestop is struggling and I try to give them my business but not anymore. The guy in line before me also fell to the same fate as he was trying to return the digital XBOX ONE and was turned away as well. Sad. Now I have to go to another Gamestop where the staff is more knowledgeable about the products...

Went this past Saturday on April, 7th 2018 at approximately 3 or 4 o’clock there was this blond tall white guy, I’m guessing the manager received the worst customer service in my whole 22 years of living. When my fiancé asked a question about a game he answered back sarcastically, finally when he rudely asked for an ID my fiancé who is 23 got mad and chose not to buy the game he originally came for . Initially when we came into the store his co worker asked what was wrong with him and he said he was in a mood, at first we understood everyone has those days but our final straw was when he got sarcastic when my fiancé asked him why he needed his ID. I recently had drift stick on my PS five controller, which I went to another GameStop in Pearland to swap out comes to find out they didn’t do their job and left me in a situation to where I had to buy another one, but once I came to the Willowbrook location the store manager Stacy really helped me out a lot and was very patient and understanding of my situation and we ended up working out a better situation.

I’m not sure if it’s possible, but can we please get Stacey to get promoted to district manager? She knows her stuff.
