Kohl's — Local services in Houston

If there were negative stars they'd rate a -10 with me i have never been treated so rudely in my life. I went to Kohl's at Baybrook, my first time being at Kohl's ever. I took a look around the store, which was extremely hot, and found some items i wanted to purchase. I went to the cashier to check out and i have $185 in Kohl's cash on my phone and it would not work the cashier was very rude and did not offer to help figure out why, in any way, she could have tried to scan it again or called a manager to help figure out why it wasn't scanning properly. Instead she chose to look down her nose and act like i was trash and didn't really have any money to spend, all the while there was an of duty employee standing in line behind me and thought he needed to get involved. When i asked her to manually enter the numbers he told her not to do that, i told them i had $185 Kohl's cash on my phone and he responded very sarcastically that he had $200 in his pocket, when i asked who he was and what gave him the authority to boss her around he started making rude comments about my feet, they do need a pedicure but that's none of his business. I left in tears and when i called crying and asked to speak to the manager, Kim told me she was one of the managers. As i explained what happened she denied the guy worked there and then hung up in my face, i will never set foot in one a Kohl's again and I'll tell my friends to...

The store was very clean with everything well-maintained and pleasant. The customer service was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. I checked out the cologne and found a pretty good selection to test with helpful testing strips plentiful. The big and tall section had a lot available, although it was pretty heavy on the long-sleeved shirts for my tastes. Still, I appreciated the selection and found some good short-sleeved shirts to look at. I wish there were a bigger variance of style, but that's the nature of big n tall in department stores. The prices were very affordable and the products were quality. I went early, so the checkout wasnt very busy. The store layout made sense and matched other Kohl's well, so I knew my way around and found everything I needed quickly and checked out some other sections as well. Plenty of room to roam. I loved my purchases, but I was absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated at the customer service checkout counter.

After paying, when I went to leave the store, the door alarm went off. I stopped immediately and started to return back to the counter, that's when a heard the lady behind the counter yell outloud (in the direction of the people in line)."WAIT, SHES TRYING TO STEAL SOMETHING!"

I promptly returned to the counter and had the lady check to see if there were any tags still attached. She rechecked all of my merchandise and dismissed it as a fluke. While I proceed back to the door, she once again yells. "IF YOURE STEALING, SECURITY WILL CATCH YOU!"

As a person with social anxiety (hence the reason for paying ahead to get "in store pickup") I was mortified. I sat in my car crying. I'll never return to the Baybrook...
