Memorial Hermann — Local services in Houston

Nightmare experience with this HORRIBLE hospital system. My mother was "vaccinated" with the Covid lethal injection and got very ill as many people do right after. She suffered several strokes not long after. She was admitted to this hospital and able to walk in just fine. We had only found out about the strokes because of an MRI that was done. When she was released from Memorial Hermann after a few weeks she could no longer walk. So, something happened while she was there, but I do not blame the hospital for this because we don't have any proof what of what might have happened while she was there. I had to stop them from giving her a flu shot. I do, however, blame them for their horrible lack of communication. I have Medical Power of Attorney for her. I submitted a request to receive her medical records. I was directed to email it in. I did back in March. I got no confirmation that the request was ever received. I kept having to call back for several months only to be told "It is in process." Finally, I called for about the 5th time in June. They told me it had been denied. WHAT?! They did not let me know this! I only found out because I called once again. They said it was denied because I did not have a doctor's letter with the request. They DID NOT initially ask for that, so I did not provide it. So, I eventually had to get my mother's doctor to get the records for me because the hospital was completely useless in this regard. I finally got a letter from them today telling me my request had been denied. This is four months later! Ridiculous! I cannot imagine I am the only person that is extremely frustrated by their severe lack of communication and idiotic policies. Avoid this hospital...

Go anywhere else if you can. This hospital changes you from outpatient to inpatient without your consent just to charge more. My surgery was preapproved for outpatient and they knew this in advance. Kept me additional nights with no need and explanation. Even AFTER I said I was fine and wanted to leave. Plus reminded them I am approved for Outpatient - 1 night. Joked about keeping me a 3rd night and I just called a family member to come get me. Ridiculous. Billing department is a joke. I have called for 4 months and they have not even looked at my file. Increased my bill by 400%. Someone here is incompetent and scamming insurance...

I had chest pain with my CHF potenial Heart Attack/Stroke. This hospital took good care of me until time tm come home. I had no way and they offerd bus tickets only. Some pay for Cab ride home thru the special account.I was especially impressed by the kindness of MS Valerie Sherbo RN. She made an outstanding effort that made me relax. THANK YOU !...
