I had a horrible experience at Ruby recently. It was closing time (which I wasn’t aware of) and just went in to see if they would do my eyebrows. The woman there rushed me in to do my eyebrows, saying “quick, quick” in Hindi. While I was sitting in the chair holding my brows in the middle of her threading, she made me take out my card so they can process payment simultaneously- I told her the card is with my friend who is in the opposite store and will come by before we are done and she stopped doing my eyebrows saying “you call now, only then I’ll continue. We want payment to finish first”. And then I made the call and before I could even end it (while still holding the phone to my ear), she started doing my other eyebrow and I was like “please give me a second”. I also didn’t get a chance to review my eyebrows. I took a quick glance and pointed one thing which she fixed and then said “okay we are done here”. Then I was rushed out. To the business- if it’s close of business and you can’t give a decent service, then say no in the first place. A “sorry, we are closing” will just be okay. If you choose to make money with that one extra service, then offer a DECENT one. You don’t go around pushing people and making them pay in the middle of a service. I like to come here to get my eyebrows done, I decided to get my eyebrows done along with a Hanna tattoo this particular day and my eyebrows came out nice but the Hanna tattoo however was very ugly, bulky and the design didn’t make sense on top of that I wasn’t able to sit to let it fully dry because it was closing time and they were ready to go. So not only is my Hanna tattoo still wet but they’re rushing me out and I still had to pay so I’m struggling with trying to get my wallet out my bag the Hanna tattoo is getting messed up and the lady is asking card or cash I tell her card and then she proceeds to ask “how much tip?” I say I might have cash she asked me 5 TIMES about a tip before I told her to just run my card for the amount of my eyebrows and the tattoo.
