First of all, I want to say that this place is amazing and their food and customer service is amazing. They have the highest quality meats and food. It does come at a premium cost but if you have the money it is worth every penny.

I’m giving them one star because they clearly don’t care about their customers and they’re not taking the public’s health seriously. In the midst of a pandemic where multiple businesses have had to close and then open and close again because their employees are testing positive, NOT ONE PERSON WORKING HERE WAS WEARING A MASK and I’m pretty sure they weren’t wearing gloves either but it’s been a few days so I may be misremembering that. I know for a fact that the cashier was not wearing gloves and that no employee in the store was wearing a mask. When you go to a restaurant, the server wears a mask and they usually don’t even touch your food. The people at this store handle your raw food before they give it too you. They should be wearing masks even if there wasn’t a pandemic going on! To think of the fact that one of them may be infected without knowing it, they can easily sneeze into their elbow, and that doesn’t block the whole sneeze so someone could still touch an infected surface afterwards, or they may just scratch their own arm 30 mins later without even thinking about it, and then they could unknowingly have it and pass it to all their coworkers and customers, all of this can easily happen before they start showing symptoms... that’s so scary.

I know that a lot of customers may not be concerned with this (as the other customers in the store weren’t wearing masks) but so what, careless customers aren’t handling my raw meat that I’m paying a lot of money for. You can easily come around the counter and sanitize the door handles or the area by the cash register if customers aren’t wearing masks... I can’t spray Lysol on that meat you just gave me. I get it that a lot of people in this area aren’t taking this seriously and may even think it’s not real, but considering that I’ve just gotten over having COVID I can guarantee you that it is very real, it’s an awful sickness even if you do get better, and wearing a mask would show your customers, not only that you care, but that you’re actually taking their safety seriously. I think for the amount of money you charge, that’s not too much to ask for. Having said all of this, my roommate goes to this place pretty often. Next time he goes I will gladly ask him if they were wearing masks in the store and if I find out this business starts taking this very serious public health issue seriously, I will gladly remove this review and write a new positive review because they do offer a great product and I’m happy to support that so long as they start showing that they support the public’s...

I don't know where to begin with this place. First things first, the folks that work here are absolutely AMAZING. I don't know if they are family or have been friends for a long time, but they atmosphere in there is great. They talk and joke with customers like they have known them for years. They offer advice, and they are just good people. I am usually coming in late, and ask for several different things because I am only up in that area once a week for my daughters Dr apts. The guys behind the counter always offer advice on how to grill the steaks, beef skirt and mushrooms that I buy. They have an amazing selection of specialty meats that are to die for and also some fantastic sausage made in store. I could go on and on. I went in yesterday to buy enough steaks for a dinner I am having for 18 people. I could have asked for 18 steaks and any other place would have gladly sold me 18 full steaks and taken my money. Instead these folks explained that wagyu beef is very rich and gave advice on how to serve it. Here are some of my favorite and regular purchases: beef skirt, denver cut, ribeye, sausage, mushrooms( the ones with 4 cheeses are my personal favorite.) hamburger meat, bacon, and I usually grab a new seasoning to try. I love supporting my local business especially my meat markets. The only reason I’m them three stars is because the quality of meat you get is really great. However, in terms of customer service is something they really lack. The guy with black hair and black hat (I see him almost every time I go in) was taking care of me and I had a recent birthday that was on the 12th and they offer a reward where if you come in on your birthday month you get a free steak. So, the owner and some lady (who always needs to yell? lol) was there as well and the owner was absolutely rude to the guy who was taking care of me and then proceeded to say “well go look on the computer, is it there???” With the biggest attitude and said since my birthday was so far long ago they wouldn’t be able to honor it. All in all, although quality is great, I wouldn’t expect them to hold their part of the deal, especially if you had a birthday
