I have been attending this gym since August of 2024, and this review is long overdue. For one, the facilities are amazing. Bathrooms, showers, toilets, equipment, and rooms for classes are all kept in great, clean condition. Second, the range of classes this gym offers is amazing, especially if you are ADHD like me and need some variety to keep you going to the gym. I get bored doing the same things over and over, so I love being able to spin, do heated/unheated mat pilates, reformer pilates, heated barre, yoga, aerial yoga, boxing conditioning, kettlebell workout classes, to name a FEW, because there are even more--all in the same place! Third, this gym does a great job of hiring and keeping A1 instructors all around. There are multiple things to appreciate about each instructor you come across, and there are so many great ones that if one style isn't for you, there is undoubtedly another instructor whose style will be for you. (Shoutout Hope, Taylor Murphy, Eboni, Christa, Morgan, Daesha, Amber, Alyssa!) Fourth, round of applause for all of the amazing staff! Being the first faces you come across upon entering Trufusion, all of the staff I have interacted with offer top-notch customer service, are always greeting with smiles, and do their best to help everyone efficiently and effectively, with so much grace, as it can get pretty busy up front sometimes. (Shoutout to my girl Kimberly

She was very friendly and made sure my bike was all set up and it was a great class. Definitely a good spot if you are looking for a great workout. I’m update my review to 5 stars but on the whole, I still think they could do a better job of engaging and getting to know new folks, but I will say, I thought they did a great job of addressing my previous review.
POOR CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT BUT GOOD WORKOUT/FACILITY
I tried Trufusion this morning for the first time. The workout and facility were a 5/5. Staff engagement, however, was a solid 2/5. I’m not sure if it’s because it was 5:30am or because they already have an establish member base and don’t feel the need for new members but I was disappointed that the staff wasn’t more welcoming to someone visiting for the first time and considering becoming a member. The only reason I am even giving this review 4 stars is because the facility is very nice, I really like that they have several different modalities, and the workout itself was pretty good and challenging. However, being new, I was surprised and disappointed that I wasn’t really given much of an introduction. I arrived 10-15 min early as I had been asked to do so that they could orient me but when I arrived the front desk just expected me to figure it out. She simply pointed to the room I would be in and told me that’s where the class would take place and pointed to the far back corner to tell me that’s where the locker rooms were. She did not offer to give me a tour or show me the facility - I had to ask for one and I had to ask a lot questions to get any information. It felt like I was pulling teeth. Meanwhile the instructor also barely spoke with me. He was a good instructor though. The class was very good. And once I requested a tour, the person at front desk did provide one and answer all my questions. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a new studio, so maybe this is just how things are now, but I was pretty disappointed in the level of engagement. I’m also concerned that instructors for some of their other classes won’t cater to new folks who may not have experience - I’m fairly fit but I mostly bodybuild/weight lift so boxing/yoga/spin are not my area of expertise. I might be back, because at the end of the day I’m really looking for a good workout and this delivered, but I think there is a lot this studio can do to improve customer...
Read moreI am very unhappy with this studio mostly because of the room capacity size. I come for hot Pilates and the classes are always way too over packed. 60 people CAN NOT comfortably be in the room doing Pilates movements. Every single class I am hitting someone, bumping into someone, or I am getting kicked, it’s absolutely ridiculous. I’m pretty sure you guys are aware of this and I’m sure I’m not the only one to complain about capacity size in these rooms.
Secondly, I was charged for “not checking in” when I in fact did check in and was on time for class, I called and the girl at the desk even remembered seeing me and said it was a mistake. Now I feel like I have to check my bank account every time I leave class to make sure you guys didn’t “make a mistake” and charge me for no reason. This seems very shady.
Lastly, there’s not enough hot Pilates classes and it seems like this is why they’re so packed. If this class is in high demand, why wouldn’t you add more classes into the schedule so we’re not all packed in like sardines. It just makes no sense and I can’t deal with the inefficiency.
I do want to say the girls at the front desk are always nice and pleasant, very professional so I do appreciate that. And I absolutely love Hope and Morgan. Those are my favorite instructors. I’m going to miss their classes but to pay $160 and be completely miserable because I don’t have room to move throughout a 45 or 60 minute class is not worth it. At all. I recently moved here from LA and I attended John Reed gym, it was only $100 for unlimited classes, a full gym, sauna, showers, cycle rooms, the whole thing. Way bigger gym, way more products and $60 less monthly. I don’t know why you guys charge $160 when there’s no actual gym, no weight rooms, no sauna. The price doesn’t match...
