We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Houston - Galleria Area! It was a great hotel that included a breakfast and had an outdoor pool. We also enjoyed the gym and used the laundry room. Definitely recommend staying here if you are planning on going to the Huston Rodeo! 🐎🎸#tiktokgostay #TikTokGOStay #hustontexas #hotelroom #nrgstadium

We stayed here when in town for a concert. This hotel was much nicer than we expected. We had two rooms, kings w/ pullout couch. One room was bigger than the other, but both with updated furniture, walk in showers, and hard floor (which is what I look for in a hotel). The rooms were super clean, and had fixed bottles of Dove products in the bathroom. They have a great, complimentary hot breakfast every morning. We didn’t get to go to the pool, but the pool area looked nice with a large covered sitting area. The only issue we had was not having adjoining rooms available, which we were promised when booking with their reservation line in advance. We had my mother and our three kids with us, so that was important. The front desk attendant did her best to at least find us rooms that were right across the hall from each other. The area was nice, unlike the area near the NRG stadium. So I’m glad we chose to stay a little further from it. Would stay here again if coming into town.

Staff is great and very nice. The rooms are clean as well. Nothing bad to say about the employees. A few knocks dropped the rating for me. The highway noise is really bad. The building's HVAC makes an annoying whistle every 5 seconds. The rooms do not have irons or ironing boards. They have steamers. There is no efficient place to steam your garments. Some person before me did not understand how to fill the steamer and separated the adhesive on the water tank. While I was steaming my dress shirt, the bottom fell out and spilled water everywhere. Lots of people also go clubbing at night or use this hotel for weddings, and the hotel has obviously seen its fair share of drunk people. The bedside lamps, toilet paper holder, and outlets were all broken as if someone leaned on them or yanked them out of the wall.

This review is based on my one-night stay at this outstanding Hotel in August after spending a week at this location during the month of July. To start, I want to let you know that this is the BEST Hotel in Houston and one of the TOP Hotels I have stayed in across the Globe! What makes this Hotel special is its Outstanding Customer Service! You feel a great sense of Excellence from the Ownership, Front Desk, Kitchen, and Housekeeping Staff! The Ownership allows their employees to go the "Extra Mile" for each Guest. The Hotel now has a Restaurant (Space City Eats) that allows you to order food on those nights when you just want to stay in your room or enjoy a relaxing meal inside the Hotel. The food is amazing! The Hotel has also added a Kitchen and Bar (Launch Pad) to enhance the experience of each guest. The Front Desk Staff is lined with a group of "All Stars" who know how to give "VIP" Service to each guest. Your "All-Star" lineup includes Ms. Barefield, Mr. Jackson, Ms. Sellers, and Mr. McManus, along with Ms. Moore and Ms. Jonae. I have known Ms. Barefield and Mr. Jackson for a long period of time. Both Ms. Barefield and Mr. Jackson are exceptional people and provide an amazing level of customer service! The Kitchen provides a "Great" Breakfast each morning. My favorite is their hash brown potatoes. Ms. Lucia does a wonderful job and always makes sure that your Breakfast is hot and delicious! You will never have to worry about waiting for fresh food to come out of the kitchen as she is constantly checking the breakfast trays. The entire Kitchen Staff of Ms. Yanelis, Ms. Alexjandro, Ms. Gabriella, and Mr. Earnado along with the other members of this hard-working team are "Mucho Bueno." The great Housekeeping Staff ensures that your room will be very clean and relaxing. Ms. Lourdes does a great job leading this Staff. Ms. Angela works very hard to guarantee that each room is properly cleaned and every detail is covered. She has a warm smile for each guest. Ms. Maria, Ms. Diana, Ms. Mariana, and the hard-working tall gentleman on this staff provide you with a comfortable bed and a very sanitized room. Last, but not least, I want to mention the Night Auditor, Ms. Misty who is always available to help me no matter what time of night I happen to come down to the lobby with a question. She provides outstanding customer service and is always ready to assist each guest. I will actually call her prior to my arrival to check on the status of my reservation. She is another member of this All-Star team along with Mr. Mirza who also provides each guest with the best customer service. Ms. Kiki keeps each guest safe as she is always there to answer any questions and ensure that each guest has a relaxing and safe experience. I already have a new reservation for another stay within the next few days. As a Platinum Elite Member of this Hotel, I hope that you will visit this excellent Hotel soon and experience what outstanding customer service feels like. Make your reservation today for a...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express Houston - Galleria Area, which, despite some significant drawbacks, had numerous positive aspects that make it worthy of review.

Location-wise, the hotel is an absolute winner. It nestles conveniently in the bustling Galleria Area, providing easy access to a myriad of shopping outlets, restaurants, and cultural attractions. If location is your primary concern, then the Holiday Inn Express certainly ticks that box.

The hotel also prides itself on its cleanliness, and rightly so. From the moment I stepped into the gleaming lobby, it was evident that the housekeeping staff take their responsibilities seriously. My room, however, was in need of a bit of TLC because of damaged bed side lights and a broken coffee table leg, it was however, very clean.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by issues that proved to be a significant annoyance during my visit: noise. Despite explicitly requesting a quiet room during my check-in and being reassured upon check-in that my room was indeed in a quiet location, I was unpleasantly surprised. The noise levels, likely due to my room's proximity to the highway and possibly thin walls, were far from bearable, particularly during peak hours. It made relaxation difficult and interrupted my sleep more than once.

Moreover, the issue was compounded by what I perceived as a lack of honesty or perhaps awareness from the hotel staff. Being assured of a quiet room only to experience the contrary was, frankly, disappointing. The discrepancy between the promise and the reality tainted my overall impression of the service, as the credibility of the staff was called into question.

In conclusion, while the Holiday Inn Express Houston - Galleria Area boasts an exceptional location and impressive cleanliness, it fell short in providing a peaceful stay, which is a fundamental aspect of any hotel experience. To future guests: if tranquility is high on your list, you might want to double-check your room allocation or consider other options. Despite this, for those less sensitive to noise and more interested in the vibrant surrounding area, this hotel could still be an...

Customer Service is horrible at this Hotel!!! Honest Feedback! First let me start with this! The Hotel is pretty new and looks nice and clean. The rooms are also nice and "clean". I'll explain the quotes in a bit. First thing uppon arrival. It was just me and the Front Desk Staff, so they were not busy at all. There was no greetings at all, no smile, no nothing. Getting my info down, and handing me the keys to the room with as less details as possible. I didn't even know what floor I was going to or how to get access to WIFY. These are basic stuff that anyone can figure out, yes! But the staff is supposed to provide these details as well. So expect bare minimum from the staff there. Explaining "Clean" - Now once in the room, first thing we noticed is that the bathroom sink had hair all over. We had to clean it ourselves. Second thing, the floor cleaning was done in a rush or not done at all. there were crumbs and stains especially around the small "dining" table. So, the hotel is pretty new and in good shape overall and clean as well, but the staff is not doing a good job at keeping it to its expectations for sure. Back to the staff again, so we called the Front Desk or Operator to get some houskeeping as we wished they could clean the floor. The staff was very short in answering and hang up before I even finished talking. They also don't answer rightaway. It took several tries before they could pick up the phone. After several tries, I finally got another person to asnwer the phone. They promissed to send housekeeping, but that never took place. So we cleaned the room as much as we could for our two nights stay and called it done. We did not want to deal or hear from the staff ever again. The hotel is really really nice and they have great breakfast as well. Much better than other similar hotels with breakfast options included. Also, the staff there are super nice and so helpful. Nothing like the Front Desk. I wish that the hotel management put some time into training their staff before they ruin the place and...
