This giant strip mall called Village Plaza at Bunker Hill is actually outside of a tiny town called Bunker Hill within Houston footprint. There are over 50 businesses at Village Plaza at Bunker Hill and it's like a shopping town by itself. I could spend all day here to shop till I drop. I like the convenience to Katy freeway and Beltway. Weekends are the busiest to come around here. That's why I choose to shop on weekdays and not during evening commute hours. The parking lot could get kind of hectic during the busy holiday season. Psst, Chuy's Tex-Mex restaurant just opened this month. It makes me wanna try something different. I already love my latenight eatery at Denny's restaurant and daytime refreshing Which Wich sandwich shop.

Our boys in the military love to practice in the parking lot. Occasionally, someone will misinterpret our gunshots as a threat, so we end up with some bullets where they shouldn't end up... Nevertheless, as long as visitors don't open fire at our squad, the night gets pretty lit. Stop by one of our mid-night parades in which we storm into a randomly selected store, and totally rip the place to shreds. Anyone off the street can join in, and the more destruction they cause, the better. I know what you're thinking. Yes, this actually happens. No, we're not crazy. Yes, we're 100% sure of that.

I'm from Chicago and it's not anything like our own hotdogs. I mean it's a style, but I would not purchase again. No disrespect to the establishment, but I don't think it look nor tastes like Chicago style. Chicago hotdogs has the ingredients on top versus this place has the ingredients under the hotdog. On some type of bun I haven't seen before... Yeah, I'm good.... The fries are soooo thing it's.like you can barely bite them... This is just my opinion. #wayofcassandra

This location is bitter sweet for me. Product availability, quality and selection best around. For as busy this location is it’s always clean inside and or not to mention security is on duty always. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the staff at this location suck! A bunch of younger kids that are flat out rude and have attitudes. Especially the young ones that with self check out. These young people should go back to training in customer service because I’ve never had so many problems at one store with rude staff as I have here. Customer service is a huge part of a customer experience at a store. You’re store could be the best around but if your staff lacks good customer service and people skills it will literally kill the good vibes. They should really do something about this because I know I’m not the only one who has had the same experience here. Instead of going in to shop you’re better off ordering online for delivery or pick up. Which btw I have yet to have a bad delivery experience when ordering from this location. Pick up is always busy here but what store isn’t right now? Calling staff about replacements before pick up when you missed the window to make changes in the app staff took care of me even as busy as they were. Great customer service on this end of the store I must say. Only problem I can recall with pick up is 2 different occasions (far apart from each order) the packing in my trunk was not carefully placed and some things that shouldn’t have been at the bottom of the grocery pile were squished up and a mess. For example already prepared deviled eggs at the bottom of heavier items along a sushi tray and the other time was bread! Why the bread!?!? But still a great great job...

The H-E-B at Village Plaza on Bunker Hill is one of the best grocery stores in Houston. Every visit feels easy and enjoyable thanks to the store’s clean layout, well-stocked aisles, and friendly team members who are always ready to help. Whether you’re picking up fresh produce, bakery items, or household essentials, everything is neatly organized and easy to find. The produce section is always fresh and colorful, with plenty of local and organic options. The meat and seafood departments consistently impress with their quality and selection, and the bakery is full of tempting breads, cakes, and pastries. The ready-to-eat meals are perfect for busy days — tasty, convenient, and reasonably priced. One of the best things about this H-E-B is how well-staffed and efficient it is. The cashiers are courteous, and the self-checkout area is well maintained. Even during peak hours, lines move quickly, and the staff goes out of their way to make shopping pleasant. The store also feels safe and inviting, with wide aisles and excellent lighting. The prices are very reasonable for the quality offered, and weekly deals make it easy to save without compromising on freshness or variety. With its combination of cleanliness, affordability, and top-notch service, the H-E-B at Village Plaza at Bunker Hill sets a great example of what a modern grocery store should be. ⭐ Rating: 5/5 – Clean, fresh, friendly, and reliable. Bank of America was open & everyone seemed to be taking the social distancing serious. Most employees were wearing masks & gloves. Witnessed even some areas heavily touched being wiped down twice as I was waiting. Note: when arriving to walkin line nobody was in line behind me but Murphy's law thought to try and add panic as i waited my turn behind window to allow an acct.rep. to quickly squeeze in a simple task. No big deal right...just trying to be courteous. Within just a few mins...4-5 people were in line behind me i comically stated Murphy's Law that nobody was here just 1min ago but all of a sudden the line had been formed. An elderly woman I believe didn't hear me & went into panic mode by asking "Is their a problem or issue?... are they going to give you your money?" (I kinda LOL) but i responded calmly (I do talk louder than the average) REASSURING HER that everything is fine and that we all were just waiting our turn & that there was no line 5 secs ago... were just waiting for the manager to finish his transaction. ALL IS FINE. =) Last thing we need is unnecessary made up panic. Everyone is being serviced or handled at this location, they are taking necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. Ex: Masks & Wiping down things multiple times a day....
