Went to try on and buy dresses for my engagement photos. We were at the store at 8PM the hours said it the store open until 11PM. I picked out all the dresses I wanted to try on only to find the (only) dressing rooms had a clothing rack blocking it and sheet of paper saying they were closed sorry for the inconvenience. I asked a very nice associate if there were more dressing rooms or if they could be opened, he was kind and said he knew that they did that sometimes (closed them down) and he was not sure why. I then went up front and asked another associate who greeted me with a āwhatās up babeā .. I asked if there were anymore changing rooms since the ones in the back were closed she said ānoā I said and they are closed right? She said āyes they are, we have had them closed all day todayā I asked if there was anyway they would/could be open (I find it odd that this is a store that sells so much clothing yet the only dressing room was closed all day) she said ānope thatās not going to changeā very much talking down to me. Iām 24 Iāve worked in customer service for over 6 years now. And itās a passion of mine, I donāt complain or leave bad reviews and I know this might not seem horrible. But I did not like the way the second associate spoke down to me almost hoping I was going to cause a scene. And I personally would have either explained why they couldnāt have been opened or found a way to accommodate. Ā Ā Ā Read moreTonight, around 8:30PM my wife and I visited Target to shop for our upcoming trip. My wife picked out a few items of clothing and wanted to try them on in the fitting rooms. When we walked up to the fitting rooms, the attendant (older, blonde woman) had moved some furniture in the entrance essentially closing it off. My wife politely asked her if she was closing the rooms and if it would be okay if she quickly tried on what she picked out. She was then met with a very rude and curt response from the woman. The attendant then proceeded to throw items of clothing in the fitting room and uttering remarks. My wife and I were both stunned so we decided to approach an employee to help us find a manager. However, while we were waiting, my wife became very embarrassed and flustered at the situation. My wife (who has worked in retail), then proceeded to put back each item of clothing where she got it from before we left the store. When we got in the car she was very upset at the situation and felt as though she did something wrong, which was not the case. Iām bringing this to the attention of not only the local staff but for the corporate office as well. I realize there are plenty of hard to deal with customers. My wife knows all too well the struggles of workers in retail and it is very upsetting that she was treated this way. Ā Ā Ā Read moreYesterday at around 1 PM, I picked up my drive up order. It was incredibly busy so I waited for about 4-5 minutes. The girl who brought out my order was extremely professional and very kind. She even offered to bag my 10 items and apologized for how long it took to get to me. Even though I could tell she was stressed, she had a smile on her face. She was wearing a black beanie and black sweatshirt with a red vest. When I asked her name, I believe she said it was Amy. Target! Hire more people like her! Excellent customer service and great people skills.
Update 5/1 Went back because the service was so phenomenal, and the same girl happened to help me. I asked her name so I could edit my review and sure enough, it was Amy. She has black and orange hair and several piercings. She is the best. She was alone on the registers around 8 pm and was running both the self checkouts and the one open register. I truly havenāt met someone with such great customer service skills. She is a peach. Kind, friendly and very patient when people started getting snappy with her. Give her a raise! Promote her! Anything would be sufficient, she truly breathes some freshness and light into the dim, groggy atmosphere this Target has...
