My experience was up and down. We like the furniture we bought. It fits nicely in our space. Unfortunately, many things went wrong. Somewhere between the salesman to the data entry person things went wonky. During the purchase we verified each item purchase along with quantity. Great so far. As I’m wrestling our three year old to not climb on anything, I was also paying. The nice lady read everything back and again we verified the purchase items along with our phone numbers to be contacted as well as the order contact should be made. All was correct. Still wrestling the baby I paid whatever she told me and we went on our way. That’s on me for now paying more attention. I get home and find a charge for over $400 more than expected. Looked through the paperwork and she had charged us for two of the same cabinet. We only wanted one. I immediately called and spoke to the same lady that had checked us out. She told me she would send an email to corporate immediately and I should get a refund in a week or two. The next day she called my husband at work to confirm the items being delivered. They still had two of the one item and had not removed it. Now listen, my husband was talking to the same lady I spoke to the day before. She said she was unaware that there was an issue and would remove the item and contact corporate for a refund and he could come by in a day or two to get our money. My husband said you need to call my wife as she is listed first on the list to call. I’m at work The next day,. the delivery driver called my husband at work to give him a time for delivery. Husband said did you call my wife? No, your number is the only one listed. Now I gave them my number from the start and it was verified several times during the purchase. Nope, they kept calling my husband at work. That is annoying in itself since I stay at home all day. Delivery day comes and I’m so excited for our new dining room. They bring in the table and one of the corners was broken off in which the delivery person tried to hide. Bring in the chairs and the back to one of the chairs comes apart. The delivery driver tried to hide that also by pushing it back together but I stopped him in his tracks as I witnessed it. I wrote down all the issues with the table and chair on the delivery ticket and was told they would replace it all the next week. And they did today. All looks great. However, again they called my husband at work with the delivery into. My husband was also finally able to get the refund. Long story short, the good news is they did what they said they would do. They upheld their end of the bargain. We like the furniture but their customer service department as well as the delivery department needs retraining. Integrity was not shown. This is why the two stars. Will I buy there again?...
Read moreI was shopping for a power lift recliner for my disabled father. His old one broke and I needed an immediate replacement. I had a budget in mind and really couldn't go over it. I searched the internet for about an hour...comparing prices, options on the chair and delivery times. I must have looked at 30 or so options and settled on Bels. I called and was surprised they were open on the 4th of July. I was immediately routed to Mike (Mike Meyers). I explained that I found a chair on their website I was interested in. He looked it up and told me it was available and the price (which matched to the penny advertised online). I asked if they delivered. He said yes and asked my zip code. He said they would deliver but it would be a few days before the truck could get to where my dad lived (I can't say anything bad about that.. he is about 70 miles from the warehouse). I asked if I could pick it up today. He checked and said yes, they were open and would be able to load it for me. Then he asked what kind of vehicle I had (to make sure it would fit.. how awesome to think of that). He said he would have my order ready when I got there. I think we were at the store maybe a total of 15 minutes while he explained the warranty and what to do if we had ANY problem. We went to see Maddison and paid for everything. She took care of things so fast I didn't even have time to get comfortable in my chair. We headed to the warehouse..waited about 15 minutes for them to get it to the dock and just like that.. on our way to bring my father a new chair...which he LOVES by the way. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience. Thank you Mike, Maddison and all the happy...
Read moreI recently had an amazing experience at Bel Furniture, and I couldn't wait to share it! I purchased a bed and a couch, and my experience wouldn’t have been the same without the fantastic assistance from Maggie, the sales representative.
From the moment we walked in, Maggie greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm. She took the time to understand our needs and preferences, guiding us through the extensive selection with patience and care. Instead of pushing us towards the most expensive options, she focused on finding the perfect pieces that matched both our style and budget. Her expertise and knowledge about various styles and trends were evident, making the shopping experience enjoyable and stress-free.
The bed we chose is not only stylish but incredibly comfortable—it's made a huge difference in our sleep quality! As for the couch, it's the perfect centerpiece for our living room. Maggie helped us find something that fits our space perfectly while also being practical for our family.
What stood out the most was Maggie's dedication to customer satisfaction. She ensured that we were completely happy with our choices, and she followed up to make sure everything was delivered on time. It's rare to find such excellent customer service these days!
I highly recommend Bel Furniture, especially if you get the chance to work with Maggie. She truly went above and beyond to make our shopping experience memorable. If you’re in the market for new furniture, you’ll definitely want to pay them a visit!
