My son who is 12 had been thinking about a nostril piercing for a while. We decided to make a visit to Prestige as I had heard good things about them over the years. I went in first, and this is where I met Liv. I discussed w her what my son was interested in and explained he was also on the autism spectrum. She was very nice and knowledgeable and more than willing to work with him. My son came in and she spoke with him explaining the procedure and exacfly what would be required of him and what she needed on his part. After their conversation , she proceeded to help him pick out the best jewelry for his piercing. The jewelry was sterilized and she called him back into the room to be pierced. The area was clean, free from any debris in the floor , and all of the sanitized equipment was laid out . Liv then proceeded to show my son each tool used in the piercing and what it was used for. The time came for him to get his piercing, she marked his skin and asked if he was happy w the placement . He agreed and he laid back on the table.it was at this point his nerves started to get the best of him. He started asking how bad it would hurt, how it would feel, how long it would take. She again calmly and kindly, but honestly explained the procedure again , stressing that he did not have to go through with it of he was not ready. It was at this time, he changed his mind , and decided he would just do an ear piercing instead. She then again explained the procedure to him, and even did several mock runs so he would know what to expect. The time came down and the piercing went great. He jumped up, looked in the mirror and exclaimed, "now can I do the other one Dad?". I agreed and they again picked out some jewelry and went thru the procedure again a 2nd time as we had done the 1st. Liv was very patient and kind. At the end she explained aftercare and told us to feel free to contact her if there was any issues. We are now 3 days post piercing, there is no redness, and he has not complained a single time about pain post piercing. Prestige is top notch in my book. The other staff we encountered were very nice as well. Id tell anyone looking to get piercings to check...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I had an appointment with Nick. We wanted matching mothman tattoos and talked to him via Instagram DMs and sent reference images and style. We drove over an hour to the shop on the day of the appointment, and he started to ask us placement, what style we want, and asked what kind of position we want the mothman in. He told us he had some sketches almost ready and said take a seat and he’ll just finish up then we’ll start, and he went into the back room. After about 50 minutes of hearing nothing from him, he came out and re-asked us where we want to place the tattoo, we told him again, and he went back into the back room. Another 50 or so minutes pass, now we’ve been waiting for an hour and a half without hearing a single word. We decided to just leave because we were very annoyed about not hearing anything, and it was obvious he never even started drawing until we got there. It was also supposed to be a decently small, palm sized tattoo, so an hour and a half with no progress or “this is what I have so far” was insane. We left the shop and had to drive an hour back. Giant waste of time. My body is decently covered in tattoos and I’ve NEVER had an experience like this with an artist… We saw later on his Instagram story what he drew and was it absolutely NOTHING like any of the reference images we showed him. So glad we left, because waiting an hour and a half and then having to tell him we didn’t like the art would’ve been infuriating. Massive waste of our time. The shop seems to be very nice and a lot of the artists are very talented but stay...
Read moreI’ve been going to Anthony for piercings for around 16-17 years. He has pierced my nostril (x3), tragus, and navel, as well as a few piercings on my sister and several of my friends. I’ve had a great experience each time, and healing has always been smooth. When my little girl (5) asked to get her ears pierced, I knew Prestige would be the place to take her. We came in and got all set, picked the perfect studs (white opals, exactly what she wanted), and she decided she wasn’t ready yet. The staff members were super sweet and patient with her. We saw Becca and a woman with dark hair. Unfortunately her name is slipping my mind, but they were both very patient and supportive, zero pressuring her into anything. My daughter asked to come back to try again a few hours later, so we did. The girls did a practice piercing on her so she knew what to expect and also put her doll’s earrings in first to make her feel more comfortable. It was a fabulous experience every step of the way. High quality jewelry, beautiful shop, extremely clean and safe, kind people, not a long wait even on a busy Saturday, fair prices… couldn’t ask for anything more :) My daughter was also able to pick from a prize box after, & that was super cool for her. She feels very fancy with her pretty new lobes and proud of herself for being so brave. 10/10, we will be back for my...
