New China Garden Buffet — Restaurant in Huntington

I have never had to make a bad review on a place before but my experience needs to be talked about. I was there 06/04/25 just trying to find a place to eat chinese food and i have never had a worse experience. As me and my friends pulled into the parking lot, a few homeless people immediately got up and came over to ask us for money. Only one guy asked and we said we didnt have any cash (we really didnt) or i would have spared because the guy was genuinely nice and it would have been the least i could have done. He said have a blessed day and we continued to go inside. We were greeted and brought to a table and she asked us what we want to drink. Everything seemed to be going well until the waitress asked us if we want refills, we said yes and she aggressively poured the water into out glasses, splashing it everywhere, but we didnt say anything we were so shocked. I went to get noodles from the bar and i found hair in the noodles and immediately felt grossed out. I ended up not eating much because just seeing the hair made me feel sick. While we were eating a customer made a complaint about the waitress and i honestly dont blame her. She is so rude for whatever reason. She ended up coming back to our table and asked if we were done, while pointing are our stacked plates. I was assuming she meant the plates we were done with, but she brought us the bill right after. We ended up just paying the bill and then leaving. I gave the front desk lady my card and she said she needed my card again because she only rang it up for one person but i checked the bank and she didnt lie to me thankfully. I tipped $5 which now thinking on it, i probably shouldnt have tipped anything. As we walked out, two more homeless people asked for money and then they bith started fighting with each other and we ended up just driving off as fast as we could so we could get away because we were genuinely scared. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK! I would NEVER make a bad review this long, if i truly didnt have a bad experience but i absolutely had to share this. This place needs to be shut down ASAP because saying this place was “okay” would be a compliment...

I ordered food, and the price was more than the website menu said. They said I'd need to show my ID upon arrival of the food. I wait an hour, nobody shows up. I call, and they say they gave it to my neighbor, who I don't even talk to. What happened to showing my ID? Went through hell to get my food from my neighbor which was missing some of what I ordered, as-well as cold by the time I got it. The delivery driver had spoken to my brother while I was getting my food from the neighbor, and apparently was going to bring my order back out. He gets here and instead of replacing my order, he walks right into my home without permission as soon as my roommate opens the door and demands to see the food that I got from the neighbor because he went and spoke to them first and was told I received my food. Instead of replacing the food that was missing, he gives me $8 which wasn't even equal value of the cost of what was missing, not to mention my food I got from the neighbor was cold and had been touched on A recap: It's easter day...I wait 2 hours to get food that I paid close to $50 for that someone else finger f*kd, was shorted on being reimbursed for the actual cost of what was missing...I had a delivery driver illegally and disrespectfully enter my home, and I couldn't even eat the food I got because why am I going to eat something that my dopehead (literally) neighbor touched all over?

Horrible service. Even when calling saying i didn't get my order, they kept saying it was delivered and didn't want to replace it, until my brother called up and raised hell, and still yet, I never had my order replaced.

I would HIGHLY recommend anyone/everyone to go here!!! I come here EVERY time my hubby and I go on a date and it gets better each time!! Honestly, there are so many different reasons I love this restaurant. First of all, the employees are SUPER nice and they're happy to help in any way!! They do whatever they can to make sure the customer is happy. Also, the service is fast. Unfortunately, a lot of times my order is carry out because I'm on my lunch break so I have to be quick! (If I go anywhere else then, sadly, I am always late when I clock back in from break! Another reason is because the employees continuously check on each customer to be sure they're pleased with everything. Another example I love it is because EVERY DAY/NIGHT the buffet looks AMAZING!! Honestly, it's CLEAN and the food is ALWAYS FRESH!! Sometimes I get off work at 9:00pm and I feel bad running in there so late (because I get there 15-20 minutes before they close) and they are about ready to clean out the buffet. However, even though they may be frustrated with me, they continue to smile and make sure I feel welcomed. I think that around a hour before they close they try to hold on making any fresh food....just in case there aren't any more customers and then all of the food is wasted! So...every time I show up late, they ask me what kinds of food I would like made fresh. It is such an AMAZING place and you MOST DEFINITELY will ALWAYS get your money's worth!!!
