Be careful when you order multiples things on line for in store pickup. They shipped my two items at different times and returned one after I asked the store to keep it until the next item arrived. I did not want to make two trips of over 5 hours for one item at a time. I have spent countless hours on the phone with the store and the customer service with no satisfaction. When I arrived at the store to pick up the two items they then said that they canceled the one item on the order. They fortunately had this item in stock and proceeded to charge me sales tax even though I have a tax exemption. They said on my account it did not show a sales tax exemption but did not charge me tax on the second item because of the sales tax exemption. The cashiers would not help with this transaction. The cashiers said that on my account it did not indicate that I have a tax exempt and said that they can not see the whole account on line. Read moreI called them at 8:13 pm. I ask if I could get some propane tanks filled. They said yes but you need to get here before we close. I said ok I will be there at 8:35. Well I get there the guy said go to the gate on the west side of the building. I unload the propane tanks and come out and said we can’t fill your tanks because they turned the pump to the tank off, I said why they knew I was coming. This is not good business. So here I am without propane due to some lazy person.
Thank you for replying to my post. The 2 young men working last night need to be taught a lesson. You don’t treat customers like that. It will come back and bite you in the butt one day. If one of my employees did that they would get written up and take a day off with out pay. My employees are thought to respect all customers. Our hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. Read moreI was at Tractor Supply today to purchase a doghouse. The ones that I wanted to see were locked in a dogpen. I went inside the store and asked if someone could unlock the pen so I could see the doghouses. The manager, who was on the phone, told me that I had to pay for it first and then they would unlock the pen. I replied that I wanted to actually look at and touch the doghouse before purchasing it. She replied that it would be 10 minutes before she would have someone available to unlock it. I said okay and went out side to wait. She did come out and unlock the pen while continuing to laugh and talk on the phone. I believe that she could use some instructions regarding customer service. I did purchase the doghouse because I do like Tractor Supply and I appreciate that they do support our Veterans.
