Michelle posted a car with only one picture. When I asked her if she had more photos she just told me to come in and wouldn’t answer any questions about the car. When I told her I don’t want to waste a trip without knowing anything about it she was rude and unprofessional and told me I’m not a serious buyer. I can’t speak much to this pawn shop in particular, but Michelle stinks at sales and customer service. The guys at cedar post pawn are pretty cool and have never treated me like this lady.

Edit: she tells me this van was disgusting when she responds to my review. She didn’t tell that when I messaged her and called her! I didn’t want to come and see it if it was disgusting and a waste of time. All I wanted to know is what condition it was in and she refused to answer me, weird power trip I guess. Her reply I think speaks to the truthfulness...

I ordered a firearm online, spur of the moment at 10pm on a Friday night and selected Family Pawn for the FFL transfer. I promptly arrived Saturday morning to inquire how to proceed as I would normally contact a place before having a firearm shipped there. They were pretty cool about the whole ordeal and simply informed me that they would contact the individual on the paperwork they receive with the firearm. 3 days later I receive a call to pick it up. Super fast and easy transfer with a CFP, took all of 20 minutes. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful during this transaction and the transfer cost was extremely fair compared to a few other places. Each time I walk into Family Pawn in Hurricane I’ve felt warmly greeted and validated as a customer. The staff there is friendly and knowledgeable (thanks Bill!) and engages in meaningful conversation without pushing a sales agenda. I had some very detailed questions about some items from their “bountiful” selection of early LDS church history artifacts, as well as their precious metals display, and Bill (and store owner, Chris) took me on a deep dive in each of those areas. I felt like I was quoted a fair price for the silver I eventually did buy with minimal markup.
