Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican — Restaurant in Hurricane

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to give a huge shoutout to the incredible team at Cafe Rio in Hurricane, especially Maribel and Jesus! From the moment we walked in, they made us feel genuinely welcome. Their kindness, patience, and top-notch customer service made our visit stand out in the best way possible.

The food, as always, was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious but what truly made this experience exceptional was how attentive and friendly the staff was. Maribel and Jesus went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, taking the time to chat, smile, and serve with such warmth that it honestly felt like we were being taken care of by friends.

If you’re in Hurricane and craving something amazing, don’t think twice, go to Cafe Rio, and if you’re lucky enough to have Maribel and Jesus & the rest of their staff helping you, you’re in for a treat. Thanks again for the wonderful service and unforgettable...

From the moment I walked in with my arms full and my three sweet kids in tow, I was blown away by the kindness and service at this Café Rio location. The staff immediately held the door open for us and greeted us so warmly, it set the tone for a great experience.

Jesus was especially wonderful! He checked on us multiple times and made sure everything was perfect. It truly felt like he cared about our visit and wanted us to enjoy our meal. They even gave my kids a little bit of tortilla dough to play with while we ate.

And the food? Incredible. I had the sweet pork quesadilla and it was absolute perfection—loaded with flavorful, tender pork and melted cheese. Every bite was delicious.

This location went above and beyond, and I’m so grateful for how they treated my family....

We received horrible service in the drive thru. Our food was supposed to be delivered”promised” by 7:10pm. When we got there at 7:10 they said it would be another 10-15 minutes. (Our bag of food was sitting on the back rack just getting cold.)

We were told to wait up front and someone would bring it out. Nobody came out or updated the app! It was done at 7:10 but we did not get our food until 8:02!! Sitting in the parking lot with a screaming baby just waiting.

When we got home all our food was cold, my girlfriend’s food was wrong and it just ruined it for her. My son received half his food.
