I’m afraid I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody :,) I originally went into the store near the mall entrance, and was never told of the kiosk I had to go to instead. The person working still took my iPad, charged 180, and told me to come back next Monday. I did, and was told it still wasn’t ready and to come back the next day, so I waited again. I then found that the gates to the Cell Stop storefront were closed, and I could not call them— once again, I was never informed of the kiosk, nor was I contacted a single time. For the next several weeks I did not get a single response and the gates were constantly closed. When I finally was able to reach them, they told me about the kiosk for the first time. When I went to go pick up my iPad I was offered a screen protector, and I asked “Is there an extra fee?” And was told “No.” I was then charged 70 dollars for the screen protector and something else that I was not informed of. When I came back a week later— I had not expected to pay a fee and did not have the proper funds— I found out that they wrote my number down wrong, and when I asked why I was charged, they said “I wasn’t there so I don’t know” and still charged me 45 extra dollars. Which is even more confusing, because why was it 70 earlier?? I don’t want to sound too rash but I feel sort of like I got scammed :,) at least my...
Read moreI recently had a disappointing experience at Cell Stop where I went to purchase a new screen protector for both my phone and my wife's, along with a new phone case. After locating the items I needed, the cashier quoted me a total of $69, which I found acceptable.
However, upon completing my transaction, I was astonished to find that my total had ballooned to $225. This significant discrepancy left me feeling misled and frustrated, as it was far from the price I was initially given.
To make matters worse, my brother-in-law, who was shopping for a similar phone case and screen protector shortly after me, experienced the same issue. He was not informed of the total cost until after his items were assembled, leading him to believe he had also been misled.
This lack of transparency and clarity in pricing is unacceptable. I am highly disappointed with my experience and cannot recommend this establishment to others. I urge potential customers to be cautious, as my experience suggests a troubling pattern of deceptive...
Read moreExtremely rude owner. and if they see this and reply just know that they will try to lie on me just like they did in store. First, IF YOU HAVE AN APPLE, JUST GO TO THE APPLE STORE TO FIX YOUR PHONE. Anyway, i went back today because they "fixed" my phone 11/25 (it's now 12/07 so literally one week ago) and it's already broken. I wanted my money back. Simple. the owner was immediately defensive and was an ass. he said "bc there are scratches on the screen (there were none again, ive only had it for a week) we can't refund you." He kept coming up with nonsense reasons to not refund me for their mistake even though I found a compromise every time. Do not trust these people. They are money hungry and unhelpful. ALSO if they fix your iphone, apple cannot go behind them and fix their mistake. I ended up replacing my phone for way cheaper at Apple. Lastly, 90% of those 5 star reviews are fake. I've...
