This one is a mixed bag. Overall, if you want a slim, European-feeling suit, this might not be your place. They have TONS of options, but this does feel a bit more like the traditional American-suit shop with really baggy pants for men about to serve a mission. We wanted a really tricky color. I called ahead, and the young man who answered my call sounded pretty clueless and also wasn't very helpful. We live far away, so I wanted to see if they had even close to the right color before we drove up to see their options. He didn't really offer me any options, and didn't seem to think they had the color in stock at all that we wanted. He was kind enough to text me everything he could look into and find, and that was really nice. It wasn't SUPER helpful, but it was enough to give us an idea of what we needed. It would've been nicer if they had a website with inventory, though. When we got there and walked in, a man (who I believe was the owner), immediately found multiple suits in the color we wanted. He was really helpful in getting us information and also suggesting other places we could try. It was a little disappointing that they couldn't do all the alterations we would've wanted to the suit that was already going to cost $500 before alterations.... That felt a bit steep to us. So, like I said, it's a mixed bag. If you want something American and mainstream, it'll probably be fine for you. If you want a suit that fits perfectly how you want it in an obscure color, this might not be your place. And it also depends which employee you talk to. Some are very knowledgeable, and some...
Read moreWeâve been coming here for years for suits and ties for school dances. Typically they have a really great selection of suits, ties, and shirts. We recently went shopping for a missionary, and were assured that the shirts we bought would fit and that we didnât need to try them on. Upon trying them on, the sleeves were about an inch short. Not a big deal, just inconvenient to have to bring them back and return them. The major issue was the hemming on the pants. We had 4 pairs hemmed about a week ago, and 1 pair from several months ago. All of the hem jobs are terrible. Extremely sloppy, extremely visible stitching, and bunching around the stitches causes it to be more noticeable. Itâs not a one time mistake, because pants hemmed 3+ months apart have the same flaws. Brought the issue up to an employee and provided a photo of the stitching, and received a âHuh, thatâs weirdâ. Again, not the end of the world, we will have them rehemmed somewhere else, but itâs frustrating to have to spend more money on something that should have been done right the first time. The employee that we worked with both times was friendly, but just not extremely helpful. Not terrible service, but leaves something...
Read moreWent in yesterday morning with the intent of just assessing the store and deciding if that is where I wanted to buy a suit. Dana answered my questions about what type of products were available. He also recommended a couple of other places in town to considerâwho does that? Went back in the afternoon with my wife with the intention of ordering a custom made suit. Dana discussed that with me and also provided other options that allowed me to walkout with 2 suits, one black and one blue, two white shirts, a tie, a belt, a pair of suspenders, two pairs of socks, two packages of handkerchiefs, a nice pair of shoes and maybe one or two other things that I forgot for less than Iâd planned to pay to order a custom made suit. Thatâs what I got. Farrellâs got a loyal customer. Couldnât recommend more highly! And if thatâs not enough to convince you to shop there, consider that youâd be supporting a...
