Let me start with what I think is good. The store looks really good and very professional. Now let me give you the list of bad. This was not my first time I’ve came in to this store with my wife just to look at rings to possibly buy. The first time every store clerk tried to pressure us into buy any and every ring we looked at, not really sure why you would want your customer to buy a ring they are not sure they would be happy with? I’m going to safely assume the sales clerks are really desperate for sales needless to say they were not successful in closing a deal with me or my wife except leaving a bad taste in our mouth for Helzberg. Last night we decided to give Helzberg another chance because they had a nice ring selection according to the website we have been looking at for a few days. When we walked in we had a sales clerk come to us and seemed very professional and noticed we went straight to the rings. We told him that the stone fell out of my wife’s ring and we were considering upgrading it because we have already been together for a few years. We looked at some rings and showed them a picture of one we kinda liked but wanted to see it in person. I can’t remember the women’s name but she started helping up and was trying to pressure us into buying the first one we looked at, then proceeded to make a comment after my wife and I both said we needed to think about it because the price of the ring was almost at our max budget and when we said that she turned and looked at me and said “do you really want your wife to walk around with a ring with a missing stone” I’m not sure if she thinks that’s a good sales tactic but my wife found it really rude and I found it incredibly desperate for a sale and just wanted us to get something and get out of the store. I thought about this last night and I remember the very first time I walked into the store and my wife and I got her as our sales women before. She was very unprofessional, did not care about what we wanted, and was just focused on making her sale. When we were ready to leave to go to a different jewelry store she tried to say that the ring is the only one of its kind they have and it’s already been marked down so if you come back and it’s gone don’t be mad at me. Just seems really desperate. We ended up going to Zales and the women there that helped us was incredibly nice and showed us lots of rings and even had us use the jewelers loop to show us the quality of the rings and how they are put together so we would know exactly what we were getting. Zales ended up earning our business and my wife has a new ring and it’s exactly what she wants. I would recommend anyone who has had a bad experience with Helzberg to check out Zales and give them a chance, as they were way more professional, and actually wanted to earn your business rather than make a quick sale, and make sure your happy with what...

I remember stopping in later after Valentine's Day of 2023 as I proposed to my now wife on 2/13/23, we were assisted with picking out an engagement ring. We had also stopped by other places as well as browsed online, but we were glad to have stopped in at Helzberg. The team was very polite, not pushy-salesy, as some may say, and was truly helpful in helping my wife decide on a ring. Of course, overwhelmed by options in the store, one ring was decided on and ended up being customized to perfectly fit her finger and taste.
About a year down the road with just a month before our wedding, we decided to look for our wedding bands (I know at the very last minute). Again, the team was very helpful and I had an amazing ring customized just the way that I had wanted! My wife went back and forth on rings but later found one that she really liked and it complimented the engagement ring perfectly!
Given the short time-line for the wedding bands and the upcoming wedding on June 8, 2024, the team guaranteed that they will do everything that they can to ensure both rings will be ready for pickup very close if not the day before the wedding. From what I have gathered, there were a lot of hoops and even traveling involved for the Helzberg team to meet the short deadline window, but they did make it! Both rings looked amazing, too. Unfortunately during our honeymoon I lost my ring in the ocean in Jamaica :/ Once we made it back to the US, we later stopped by Helzberg again, this time at their spiffy new location to order another same ring for me. Of course, the ring customizations that I had really took time to get it to match 100% what I had ordered previously, but the team was able to get everything figured out. I am actually currently waiting for the ring to be ready, which I expect here soon, but with no intense deadline this time :)

My family has been shopping here for years and my mother's jewelry collection is extensive because my father and her started over at the metro north mall location way back when I was a small child. I can remember running around the dim lit store trying to peek into the cases at the shiny things since I was only knee high to a grasshopper. Getting an I am Loved pin every shopping trip was the highlight of my early experience at Helzberg. My parents developed many wonderful relationships with many associated within the Helzberg brand. Fast forward many of years and many dollars later, I yearn for that experience that my parents used to have all the trips ago but am sorely disappointed. Every time I have gone in to get my jewelry cleaned I'm handled like an inconvenience. I've been in to look at a ring for my husband since he needs a smaller one now and the watch collection and wasn't given any service. I guess coming into the store in my work attire of jeans and a work jacket is too low class for service. I'm deeply saddened by the changes in the store because this isn't anything I remember. My last issue is with the billing. The billing dates randomly change every now and then. Word to the wise keep an eye out for all info and wording on you bills because they don't care. They hope for this so they can collect extra money for their pockets. I will be paying my bill off and closing the card down and will take my business elsewhere.
