Oh what a journey this has been. disclosure, longer than usual post I have never in my life been so stressed and overwhelmed about something that seems so easy? First place I went, thought I found the dress. Got a feeling that wasn’t it... kept looking. Second, third, fourth... found my ‘snow queen’ dress. A dress that was my dream dress. Noticed I used ‘was’ 😏 doubted it.. kept looking. Fifth place.. sixth place.. put a deposit on another dress. I even cried. I had ‘a moment’. Went home, didn’t feel right about it. Something just didn’t settle with me. But I loved the dress? “What is wrong with me” I continued to battle with. This was an on going process that I just couldn’t shake and was wondering why in the world is it this hard. Were my expectations to high? Was I settling? Who was I trying to please? Questions that kept me awake at night. Fast forward, Long story short since this has a character limit- I was the winner of a free wedding dress at the Bridal Expo in Charlotte and got to come and pick out any dress in the store at Ever's Bridal. It went beautifully. Each staff member that I encountered was so sweet and wanted to make sure I found the perfect dress for my wedding especially because of so many salons I had visited and just not got that feeling yet. Thank you Lord, for blessing our marriage with the proper clothing for this beautiful celebration and thank you to Ever's Bridal you have been absolutely phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for a better staff/owner to work with. Hannah took time with me to literally dream and design my dream dress that I wouldn’t have even been able to imagine with my little limited brain. I am so thankful for this gift & your salon may not ever understand the depth of this gift, but it is much much more than ‘a wedding dress’, this is a part of our story, a part of our NEW chapter of marriage. Hannah was very honest, not pushy and is extremely knowledgeable about well.. pretty much everything that has to do with wedding dresses. I purchased my first dress from Ever’s Bridal in 2019 and from the time I walked in they made sure that I was attended to and comfortable. As a plus size bride I was nervous that I would feel as an afterthought or that I would have to settle for something that fits at least. My experience was nothing like that.

The salon was beautifully decorated and they even had mimosas and petite bite sized desserts displayed on a cute cart for us. Hannah, the owner has a great personality and was very hands on. She worked patiently with me and allowed me to take as much time as I wanted to take pictures and call people and ask questions.

My original wedding date was shifted twice during the pandemic and with all the extra time I started second guessing my dress. On the hunt I went for another one and I ultimately came back to Ever’s because of the customer service experience and Hannah. The staff are all so sweet and there’s NO PRESSURE.

I had a terrible experience with another local salon and I couldn’t even get them to return my calls for over a year to schedule an appointment. When I wrote a review about them they suddenly emailed me back apologizing. Too late. I called Ever’s to ask a question about my dress and not only did she promptly return my call but informed me about a trunk show happening this weekend. Today I purchased two additional dresses off the rack and don’t regret it not one bit. They’re having them cleaned and I’ll pick them up next month.

It is no longer called wedding dress me and is called Evers bridal boutique. They were AMAZING. I went for an appointment twice. The first time I thought I found my dress, but wanted to keep trying some things on. So we made a second appointment as a private appointment, before they officially opened for the day. It was wonderful and intimate and was very nice. The first appointment, I received a complimentary mimosa along with my mom and maid of honor with paper straws and I got a special cup. I have never had an experience like that in my life. They were right on target with finding me dresses that would fit me and my body type. She even let me try on so many poofy ball gown dresses to show me what it was like. So patient, so professional and so caring about the brides. During the second appointment, I probably tried on another 15 dresses and whenever was working the counter was very sweet and seemed like she knew what I was looking for. She let me get I got he dress rack and pick out things I wanted to try on as well as bringing me other dresses that fit my requirements and body type.

My maid of honor and mom was there again, and we ended up finding the dress of my dreams. After I cried like a baby, she took my measurements and even took my maid of honors measurements even tho we weren’t getting her dress from there.
