What a waste of time!!! Talked to a sales guy on the phone and asked questions about a 2008 bmw that from the pictures looked like it was in great shape. He proceeded to tell me the price was non negotiable because of the work they had put into the car and that it was in excellent condition. I told him I was serious about the vehicle and already had an approved loan available but I wanted to have it checked out by a mechanic. They had no issue with that and even seemed like they welcomed it. Hearing these things from them I decided I would make the 75mile trek to their dealership. Upon arrival I immediately noticed that the top of the car had a black wrap on it that needed to be replaced (friend of mine told me it was an easy fix for about $200) then I noticed on the inside that what the pictures had made look like the dash and armrest made of carbon fiber had actually been wrapped with a some for of sticky wrap that looked cheap and pealing that you could not see from pictures. But still I thought what matters is the how it drives, the motor, and other major components so I took it to the mechanic to have it looked at. Within 5 min the mechanic told me to follow him in the shop and proceeded to point out what was majorly wrong with this vehicle. 1. the oil pan was leaking a good amount of out (not a cheap or easy fix) 2. 3 out of 4 of the rims had be cracked at some point and they had been welded back together. 3. The 4 new tires that were put on this vehicle were two small for the after market rims the car had. 4. While the radiator was replaced in the vehicle the mechanic told me even though a wreck was not on the Carfax the vehicle in fact had more than likely been wrecked and that was the reason for new headlights, new radiator, and new bumper that not only wasn’t put on properly but didn’t actually match up correctly. 5. When they put the computer on it, it had 7 different error codes come up that needed to be addressed. When I got back I simply laid the keys down on their counter and said thank and walked out as to not make scene. But this was my one and only experience with this dealership but it seems like they are running some kind of chip shop or truly don’t care about wasting people’s time and being honest. Take this review how you want but I will not, and won’t ever buy a vehicle from All City or recommend...
Read moreMan, where do I begin? First let me say that this is the very first review I have ever written, good or bad. I simply don’t take the time to do so. There is no way to make this short but I highly suggest you read it through.
I live in CA and have been searching for a very specific vehicle. I found one at ACAS and called and spoke with Tony first. He was great but was off the next day when I called back to get more information and to make a deal. This time I spoke with the owner, Paul. Right away we were speaking as old friends and I had an unmistakable sense that I could trust this man. He answered each and every question I had and was out crawling underneath the truck, in the rain, to check things for me. He discovered the heated seat worked intermittently and went out of his way to find factory parts at a fraction of the price compared to the dealer. Then installed everything for free. I didn’t ask for any of this. He just did it because he knew I wanted a perfect truck.
I ended up buying the truck sight unseen. (In fact I still haven’t seen it as of this writing but I know from dealing with Paul that it’s everything I hoped it would be.) Over the next week or two Paul spent time getting shipping quotes for me, handling all the out of state registration stuff, heck, he even sent me his Fedex account number to save me money when mailing a check! He’d call out of the blue, sometimes to tell me where they were at with the seats, other times just to talk. Once I think we were on the phone for an hour!
I needed to pick the truck up after my next stint at work and that will be on a Sunday. Well they’re closed on Sunday but Paul said he’d clear his schedule and be there to get me squared away. He even offered to let me stay the night at his house so I wouldn’t have to hit the road late after traveling all day to get there.
Paul became my friend and I hadn’t even met him yet. And now I’ll never have the chance. Hours after talking to him about picking up the truck Paul was tragically killed in a freak automobile accident. This is heartbreaking to me and my thoughts are with his friends and family.
Paul was an exceptional guy and I am eternally grateful for all of his help. I won’t buy another vehicle without first contacting Tony and All City Auto Sales as I’m sure Paul’s integrity will carry on through...
Read moreI originally left a review for this dealership when I first purchased my vehicle. I feel that it has become very necessary to leave an updated one. Before I reached my home after leaving the dealership, the check engine light on the vehicle illuminated. I assumed it was my fault as the car I purchased has a high-performance engine and I did not fuel the vehicle with the recommended gas on my first fill up. I assumed this would go away as I drove the "bad gas" out. This was not the case. After having the car checked by a mechanic, I was informed that the vehicle needed major engine repair. I thought maybe there was something I had done to cause this damage, but the mechanic informed me that in the two weeks that I've this vehicle there was nothing I could have done to cause this. I asked the dealership for help and they informed me that they would send me a reasonable amount to help me with the repairs to which they followed through on. As you read the other reviews, you'll see stellar reviews which I feel are true and this situation should not deter you from purchasing a vehicle from this dealership as I am sure it was an honest mistake. With that being said, I highly suggest anyone purchasing a vehicle from a used car dealership, to do your research and your due diligence by having the vehicle inspected yourself to prevent finding yourself in a situation such as mine. Also, be sure to heed the implications of an “As-Is” policy because dealerships are not obligated to assist in situations like mine, I was just fortune enough to purchase my vehicle from pleasant businessmen who understood that sometimes things happen. I appreciate the Owner as well as Gracie for being as transparent as they could with helping me reach a solution to my problem. All in all, I’ll be back to purchase another vehicle from these guys because I am certainly impressed everyday I walk outside to...
