Holli & Jessica painted my cabinets just 3 weeks ago and the paint is chipping. The job was not good to begin with. The paint is bubbled and has a rough texture, which you can not only feel but you can see. Unfortunately I contacted Holli and told her we were not happy with the job and her response was “ your cabinets are no longer brown”. We have had EIGHT professional cabinet painters ( they all have A+ ratings) in our home to assess the damage. Three of them say it is too much work and don’t want the job and the others quoted me 2 weeks of work and the lowest quote is $4800. I paid Holli half that but now that the cabinets have been painted it is twice the work to strip them and repaint them. This is quite disheartening and unfortunate. Lesson learned: don’t hire someone who paints furniture to paint out cabinets. Cabinet painting , I’ve learned, is an art that’s not for everyone. Here are pics of my cabinets just 3 weeks after completion.

I hired farmhouse chic to paint some very old outdated cabinets in a kitchen I was renovating. The quality of work was superb! They showed up in timely fashion performed above and beyond what I expected. They ended up doing some repairs that were not in the contract for me. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I will absolutely hire them for any and all painting I need in the future. Their pricing was more than reasonable. If you need to update cabinets or furniture I would highly recommend them.
