IT Computer Solutions — Local services in Indian Trail

I have been having a problem with something causing my computer to go offline for a couple secs and then pop back on. Until today, the problem had not been too bad. However, today it was necessary for me to work from home and using my company laptop, docking station, and internet phone. My network was down more than it was up- I could not work at all and had a really big problem! I chose IT Computer Solutions because of the really good reviews and I have to say, I now see why everybody likes them! The technician, Rodney asked numerous questions over the phone, which led him to believe I likely had a router problem. He was here within just a short time and found that , in fact, my router was failing. He installed a brand new router and I was back online and working within an hour or so! One of my co-workers was stunned that I was back online so quick- he said how in the world did you get a problem like that repaired so quick?? Rodney knew that I was in a predicament and I think put me at the front of the list, which I was very thankful for! Overall, I was very impressed with IT Computer Solutions. I am so glad I called IT Computer Solutions to help solve some softwares issues that had been a problem for months. My only regret is not calling sooner!

Rodney is very professional. He followed up our initial conversation with an email confirming the appointment date and time, and detailing what he expected the cost of the service to be. It was nice to know this upfront. He also called the day of our appointment to let me know when he expected to arrive. Upon arrival, he got right to work helping me get my Microsoft 365 App up and running correctly in no time. He also updated my data security, checked available storage and cleaned up the hard drive. Rodney even took a look at my cell phone and confirmed that there were some strange glitches (recommended new phone), but even showed me ways to connect my laptop and cell for future backups and storage.

I felt confidant in his technical abilities and knowledge, but appreciate most his patience and kindness as he walked through various steps. Sometimes multiple times, without ever making me feel patronized or like a technological idiot, but instead very encouraging.

DON'T bring your PC here. My laptop would not start up, and I really needed all my files on the hard drive. I discussed this at length with the staff. They called the next day, and NONE of my files were there. They wiped the drive clean and re-installed windows, with NONE of my files. Admitted it was there fault, they just forgot. Came back 2 days later, with a couple of files restored but not even close to all that should have been there. The word docs they restored cannot be opened. They ended up charging my $100 for something I could have done myself.

My whole reason for bringing the PC there was so they could restore my files. They promised to do it, and did not. These people are incompetent, dishonest and have no concept of customer service. Save your money, find any other PC repair company but DO NOT USE THIS ONE.
