I am a huge Aldi fan and have been shopping my neighborhood Aldi for at least 10 years. I have always seen the small size of the stores as a plus rather than a minus; I donāt need to choose between 10 different kinds of cheddar cheese or 15 different brands of toothpaste. Give me one quality option for a product, and Iām fine with that. I guess my friends and family probably get sick of me singing the praises of Aldi! However, I have noticed that my neighborhood Aldi (North Keystone, Indianapolis) has been in a rough patch for a couple of months now. They completely re-organized the layout of the store a few months ago and the new arrangement doesnāt seem to offer any benefits or improvement over the old. Meanwhile, now I canāt find anything! This is a major pain in the rear! Even worse, the store seems poorly stocked and often somewhat dirty. When I was there today, I had to ask a clerk to fetch the type of yogurt I wanted, which I could see at the back of the cooler case, but was not accessible to shoppers from the front. There was a major mess on the aisle near the front door of the building, which looked like it had been there for days, and a big spill of some sort by the cash register where I checked out. As I was shopping, I noticed pieces of packaging on the floor. There seemed to be plenty of staff around the store, but they were not attentive to the messes I encountered on every aisle. I hope the store gets a new manager that is able to return it to the level of organization and orderliness that I have come to know and expect from Aldi...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSorry I had to write this bad review most of the associates in this store are very rude. About a week ago a young man almost ran over an older lady and I confronted this person about it. He tell me he had it instead of apologizing about it wouldnāt happen next time. I have myself many of times in this store someone cutting me off as an associate with carts and with electric pallet jacks. Thereās an Older African American whose been there sometime whose so nice you need to keep her. I wish I remembered her name. Many of the associates there should learn from her. Last thing didnāt want to go to Walmart and the Walmart bread is like 99 cents sliced up. I just said why not spend more so I donāt have to travel to Walmart. But mistake because I caught myself writing this. But the gentleman checked me out and asked if he mark down the bread because it was broken. Said they didnāt do that and I ask you this if that service given to you Iām sure you be writing this review too. If management is reading this little news flash your store is small which is the convenience and your prices arenāt the lowest in town like they once were. Your storeās convenience factor has worn off and Iām gonna find me another Aldi....
Ā Ā Ā Read morePrices are great. However their attitude at the cash register was beyond unnecessary. First of all I paid for two carts (with ten items or so in each cart) and the lady got upset with me because I wanted to get both of my quarters back from the carts. She thought she could have my extra cart and I told her no and she seemed to have an attitude about it cause she had to get up and get another cart. Not my fault. I paid for these and you work here. And then she went so fast and was huffing and puffing because I didn't pay fast enough yet she threw all my cans and heavy stuff onto my now squished bread and frozen pizza breaking the pizza in half. I would rate no stars if I could. This whole "timed thing" is ridiculous and I feel bad for the elderly and disabled who aren't able to keep up with the rude cashiers who visibly don't give two s* whether you can keep up or not they'll definitely let you know you are being a nuisance to them just for shopping there. I work for a 200 mil store and see great customer service in that setting even on the busiest of days, wish Aldi would...
