There are so many options to eat in this town, but the variety of choices is overwhelming. it is easy to feel lost and have no idea what to do Needles to talk of spending an hour sitting in a restaurant.

What if you could make your decision faster, inexpensive and easier?

I am positive Indy Taco makes dining easy and quick by having a well-trained staff that provides friendly and prompt service.

Whether dining in or taking out, Indy Taco makes the whole process quick and efficient.

People also ask

Where were Tacos invented?

Mexico

Tacos are thought to come from Mexico, long before the Spanish arrived. Ancient Mexicans used freshly made, soft, flat corn tortillas and gave them with fillings like fish and cooked organs. It was a staple meal that provided vital nutrients and energy to those who consumed it.

When were Tacos invented?

1905

The first mention of tacos in the United States dates back to 1905 in a newspaper, which Pilcher told Smithsonian makes sense because it was around this time that Mexican migrants started to arrive in the states to work jobs in the mines or on the railroads.

Who invented crunchy tacos?

And what's with the crispy shell? The SF Weekly talked to two taco experts to find out the origins of the “anglo taco.” Although there are a couple restaurants in Texas that could lay claim to inventing the crispy taco, it was Glen Bell, the founder of Taco Bell, who made them popular

One of the kindest, most welcoming atmospheres. My husband and I had a slight issue with one of our orders and it had never happened before as we go there frequently! I’m very pregnant and have to have it at least once if not twice a week. When I called, the sweetest soul (Jackie) helped me immediately. I explained I wasn’t looking for free food, I wasn’t wanting them to feel bad either! I’ve worked in food service it’s an extremely hard job and accidents DO happen! We are human!! We had never ever had this issue that we had. And Jackie bless her heart, she fixed it immediately and she was just so unbelievably kind. We are so grateful to this family owned business for putting delicious food in our bellies, and helping me keep a happy baby in my belly! We will continue making our weekly trips, and cannot get enough of this food.

We’ve tried several dishes and not one of them is less than 5 stars. The freshness, the flavor, it’s just perfect. It’s not overpowering but it’s not unseasoned! It’s packed with freshness and it’s always got the best sauces on the side. I will genuinely not go to another place, too good of food and too good of a PRICE! Huge burritos, chimichangas are gigantic, tacos are big, just genuinely cannot say enough good about...

I went in to try a steak fajita taco. It was strips of steak fajita on a taco but it was very small. Fast forward a couple weeks or so, I went back in and decided to order 3 steak fajita tacos because they are so small. What they handed me WAS NOT the fajita strips I got the first time. It looked like ground beef and very unappetizing. I tried to explain that this wasn't what the guy served me the first time. She insisted it was steak fajita and refused to replace it. K then. Well they got my close to 20 bucks for 3 tiny 'fajita' tacos so I sat down to eat them and got a mouth full of bone fragments! Had I gotten the STRIPS that probably wouldn't have happened. Being a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine, I have my personal doubts that what I was served was fajitas and more like cheap ground beef. I told her about the bones and she look at me and smiled and said 'Ok?'. Her rude attitude conveyed to me that she intended to do nothing about it. Not sure why anyone would eat at this overpriced establishment with a rude staff and tiny...

I tried the specialty tacos, the poblano and the fajitas tacos. They were delicious! I then order a taco de asado. I was not disappointed, it was good. This place is very authentic. The tacos are small/tiny but they do load it up with meat. I do think they are a little pricey for the size BUT the flavors of the tacos are worth paying. The two sauces are very flavorful both were mild for my taste. The tacos came with lime. The lines were very very small and they only give you one line per order, which is ridiculous because I order three tacos and only got a very very small piece of lime.

People that like bland food must be the ones rating this good. Taco Bell has better flavor. Its so bland. You cant even see a speck of flavor on it. This chicken is pale and taste like they boiled it or cooked it in the microwave. Super gross. Ain’t NOOOO WAYYY this is authentic Mexican food. I hat a waste of time and money. This is beyond bland. Not even savable. Trust me don’t waste your time here, just go to Taco Bell up the road. Reminds me of chicken from the can. It’s not even grilled.
