From The Human Bean Indianapolis, N. Keystone Ave.
"With a passion for creating happy people and our love of coffee, we opened our first drive-thru espresso stand in Ashland Oregon in 1998. The demand for convenient, quality coffee & espresso grew and soon after opening our original location in Ashland, we expanded to surrounding cities in Southern Oregon. The Human Bean quickly established a reputation for having friendly and experienced baristas and offering the highest quality ingredients."

Read moreI frequent this coffee shop often and the coffee itself is great however, the service I just received was disappointing. I ordered an iced coffee, I said it once when I ordered and then again when they asked specifically for iced or hot coffee. I assumed they didn't hear me the first time, no big deal. I remember that I said iced coffee specifically because they hadn't heard me the first time. I get to the window and am presented with a hot coffee, I politely let the barista know I ordered an iced coffee (again, mistakes happen, it was no big deal). The big deal is that the barista said nothing else to me, pulled the coffee back with a straight face and turned to have a back and forth with the other barista who multiple times said they asked me if it was hot or iced and suggested I never said iced, they did not care if I heard. I mentioned I ordered it iced again because at this point it feels like I'm being accused and neither one of them say anything. No one apologized for the confusion or said anything to me about it at all, they finally gave me the iced coffee I ordered as if nothing happened. I don't like having to write a review about getting hot coffee instead of iced but the service was so bad I felt someone should know what kind of service is being provided. I would want to know if it was my company. It wasn't even a big deal to me until I was being made to feel like I had done...
Read moreSo I've been spending my money here for a few years now and, let-me-tell-ya, it's the best coffee shop in the State. I have seen faces come and go but anybody who works the window or has an ear piece in could probably tell it's me by my order. Hands down my favorite coffee spot, convenient for me because I live down the road but I'll go out of my way for this place .
Always friendly, never have a complaint. I normally get the caramel granita, comes with whip but I usually opt out and get a pup cup for my furry son (he's a dog not a hairy human) . We found out his belly doesn't like milk bones so we pass on that. But the turkey, pesto, mozzarella sandwich is so good. I wish there was a two-fer cause one just ain't enough for my big self. But mamaw used to say too much of anything is bad for ya so I take my coffee and Sammie and be on my way. Thank y'all for have good coffee that isn't watered down or loaded with sugar or HFCS.
Thank you!
