I placed an order yesterday for a birthday cake with a picture on it. We didn't have the picture with us so we were told by the associate at the bakery counter to bring in the picture by 11am the next day for them to print an edible one to put on the cake.(not to mention, this associate was rude, didn't seem to want to be bothered by us and didn't even want to take our order and had a very rude tone with us) Fast forward to this morning and we call the bakery to let them know that we are on the way with the picture. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude, would not let me explain what was going on and even when she allowed me to speak, she was still super rude and stated that the cakes were already made and that there was no note on the order about a picture or even a name or number for the cake. We ended up going to the store and speaking with the manager, Aaron, who was super polite and helpful to us. When we went over to the bakery counter with Aaron the bakery associates were asking him what he was looking for in a rude manner and they refused to acknowledge anyone who was in the bakery/deli area, it was like the customers didn't exist, not to mention that we were following social distancing guidelines to the letter and we were extremely nice, not overbearing, and quick with any questions or orders we might have. (And this is everytime we come to this location, which is 4 or 5 times a week) Aaron kindly asked us to wait or shop around for 15 minutes while he fixed the cake and when we came back, the cake was on the counter on the edge where anyone could have taken it or moved it, or dropped it. (The associates rudely told us that it was there and then stared at us very angry like we were the problem) We took the cake paid for our items and left quickly, the other employees just seemed angry and we didn't want to deal with anymore anger, rudeness, or drama. I'm really starting to consider not ever shopping at any Kroger store ever again as this is the third time we have been dealt with rudely for no...
Read moreAlways out of stuff on shelves but recently I got very sick because they made a fast buck selling bad Kroger Brand ice cream ,if you see an in store special sale deal that's almost to good to be true don't buy it your stomach will pay the price for it ,I believe they knew full well what they were doing ,they just didn't want to loose money on ice cream that thawed out so they got rid of it fast and im sure slot of people got sick their 20$ Kroger card and ice cream coupons didn't come close to compensating for how I felt ,and at the very least the store manager could have came out and apologized but they didn't ,I go there because it's easier then going into bigger stores but I can't say that they impress me by any means ,also just to add to this review because I've had to deal with Kroger not honoring coupons from their app. at all 3 shopping trips this week,so just be sure you check when your paying bill , the app. Is terrible !! And I think I'm just about done using it or shopping there, and I would not recommend anyone rely on the app doing what the coupons say their good for try watching your checkout totals you'll see what a pain it is to have to have them call a manager up to fix it and they aren't polite about it either,in the last year I've lived here Tonite I had the first nice cashier who understood my fustration, and even apologized,so thank you to her the rest have been just very rude, I've been a cashier and maybe getting bill adjusted for someone takes a minute but just realize it's not their fault it's the stores , and that's who they should get irritated with, it's a marketing scam and just about every chain of stores is guilty of it, it's just wrong and it's cheating someone else for a profit. So buyers beware if you're using their app!! Might seem handy to use but if it doesn't give you the perks of using it why...
Read moreOK so I shop at this kroger every week. Every single week. And lately I've been feeling the urge to tell people about the experiences I've been having here. Firstly I shop kroger Click list sometimes because it is a huge timesaver for my family. Yesterday I placed my order and then many hours later I get a phone call asking me to move my order to the next day or have it cancelled. No big deal I move it to the next morning. The next morning I go to pick it up and they tell me that a couple of items are not available and that here is the rest of my order. That's OK I take the rest of the order. However the items that were not available are almost never out of stock. So I go park go into the store and I go straight to where the items that I needed work and the shelf is fully stocked. The shelf was fully stocked they clearly did not even look for the item. Secondly I went shopping with my mother a couple of weeks ago and she was helping me pick out some things to make a meal. We were in the meat section and she went up to an older gentleman who works in your meat department. Ask this gentleman a question about the meat and he proceeds to tell her that it is none of her business. Clearly she is taken aback because wow what a response. So she kind of shakes her head and she says excuse me. And he proceeds to repeat himself that it is none of her business so she comes over to me and tells me what happened I am absolutely livid and I want to go straight to the customer service desk which is what I should have done. But my mother was too embarrassed and did not want to make a big deal out of it so I wasn't going to make a big deal out of it. But I can still let people know in the management that looks at these reviews know what employees that work under them are doing at...
