At the self-checkout, a product rang up for the wrong price. However, I didn't get the help I needed because the CSR (Michelle) was chit-chatting with the other employees. However, once she was done conversing with them, she went to a couple whose light went off after my own. She spent some time helping them. I tried to get her attention a couple of times but to no avail. When she was finally done helping the couple I raised my hand and asked for her help, but she then hesitated and asked, "Who was first?" I told her that I was first and she reluctantly came over to help me. (I found out later that the other person who needed help was an employee she knew). Then she asked loudly in an aggressive voice what it was that I wanted. I explained to her that I needed a price adjustment, and she took the product and walked away with it to help the other person who was waiting on her; even though I told her that I wanted to purchase the item. After reminding her that I still wanted to purchase the product, she aggressively raised her voice letting me know that she 'cannot change the price without checking first.' To which I told her that I was okay with that. She then paged someone and loudly announced why she was calling them. The other customers were not very happy with her attitude. She was argumentative and difficult to the very end.
She asked me to move out of her way when my daughter and I already had. She also accused me of lying to her about removing the sunflower oil from the product list, then I had to remind her that I told her that I did tell her that I had when she first asked me. She was angry and had an attitude the entire time. We kept our distance between ourselves and Michelle and did not engage her because of how rude and aggressive she was in the way she talked to us and in the way she carried herself. It was quite stressful and upsetting to deal with her, but still, I refused to engage her because the anger she displayed was coming from something else. However, it doesn't excuse the behavior. You would think that an older woman like Michelle would know how to conduct herself in the workplace. It was clear the other customers were also waiting for her to get her act together. It was also clear that she could not help herself. There was a clear lack of self-control from Michelle. I am not eager to return to that store any time soon if ever again. No place is perfect, but I have had a much better customer service experience than I have yet to experience at the...

Read moreDear, Meijer's! This is not to shame your business.
I/we actually love your store. I'm just not too fond of your restrooms.
Yet, your restrooms need A lot of tender loving, because this is not okay & beyond unsanitary.
This is how the Women's restroom was when I went to try to use your facility.
Also, whoever did this, You could've cleaned up behind yourself.
When I went to check out in the front of the store & the restrooms are right by the registers,
I should not have to walk all the way to the back of the store, to use your restroom.
This is unsanitary & not okay.
Also, people please wash your hands after using the restroom.
I've lost count on how many people that do not wash their hands when coming out of the stall.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
Mainly customers & just A few employees, in which I believe those employees are no longer there anymore.
I will say that when I have notified someone about the restrooms, the employees had notified someone immediately.
I didn't wait around to see if anyone actually had came to clean them, yet A lot of people says that your restrooms are always like this.
That's the only reason I made this post, so hopefully it doesn't remain like this anymore.
I have faith that you all will get it together.
Thank you in advance.
I understand that you can't do anything about the customers who aren't washing their hands, I just pray that they don't work around food, or kids, or anything especially, because that's...
