Placed an order online, was very pleased with the curbside option because I hate to get a little one in and out the car and hold food. The website could be better, there was no scale for the spice level with the sauces. Iāve had Louisiana rub at other places and thought the lemon pepper would be safe heat also the hot honey, this was their 20 boneless special with 3 tenders and a large fry. I got the tenders plain for the little one
Arrived a bit after the projected time for pickup, 15 mins after because the place is newer and itās a Saturday night. Not many cars in the lot, called to advise I had arrived and the girl answering the phone said she doesnāt understand. She said she can hear me but apparently curbside isnāt anything sheās familiar with. Alrighty then, I go inside and get pointed to my order. Itās packed in two bags stapled, get homeā¦. Not ranch, no blue cheese that were suppose to be part of the order.
All of the fire breathe, strong stomach, hotties will likely love the Louisiana Lemon Pepper. The Boneless wing looks like a wing from the 90s with the breading and like it was also spun in hot sauce and then got the lemon pepper smacked on it (how the ranch sprinkles use to look) Boy I wish I had an explanation on the website before dating to order these. I bit one little boneless wing and 20 mins later my mouth still tingling. Cleared my nose up but I guzzled fluids back into the best hydration of my life trying to recover.
The hot honey was Childs play after that, crazy enough I think itās a little bit too much honey on it like the balance isnāt quite there.
Tenders are big šš½ for the child so it was plain just to be safe. The fries, nothing spectacular.
Will I return, idk will they add heat descriptions on the website? Might as well remove curbside & double check the bags for everything...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI thought for sure this place would be great - and then when I entered I noticed the lack of enthusiasm from everyone working there. No "new energy" vibe. I ordered, and paid ($25 for 16 wings - including tax) and after ordering was informed that it would take 20 minutes. So I had a seat in their depressing dining room while my dog waited in my vehicle outside. I eventually get my wings, and left. The wings were hot, thoroughly cooked and lightly seasoned, but very oily. If they patted the wings so they weren't as oily, and added more lemon pepper, and got them to me faster, and were a little more cheerful, and their interior was more upbeat - this would be a great place. But it seems like they're depending on their excellent location and curb appeal to keep them in business instead of trying to serve people excellent wings in an upbeat restaurant. I might try them again in a few months, because maybe they're going to read enough reviews like mine and try a little harder to fix these...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI placed an online order. In all I ordered 40 wings, 2 big fries. I hit the option for well done & in the special instruction section I put ā EXTRA EXTRA CRIPSYā. I get to the restaurant a couple minutes before my pick up time. I had to wait an additional 15-20 minsā¦. Fine, no problem, I understand. But to wait a whole hour for my food and still get soft, undercooked wings is unacceptable! This is the second time this has happened. The first time I didnāt check my food & they wouldnāt remake my food. So I had to put my wings in the oven. This time I checkedā¦..EVERYTIME I go in the evening time, thereās a problem! Never again! They have a whole kitchen full of African people cookingā¦. Their well done & our (African American) well done are two different things. They need to get them out the kitchen. When I go during the day I have no problems! SMHā¦. I definitely wonāt go back in the evening if I go back at all! I work hard for my money, give me what I payed for, how...
